Role Summary
The Proposal Manager for the E-House business is responsible for leading the end-to-end proposal and bidding process for modular E-House and electrical building projects. This includes managing customer enquiries, coordinating with internal stakeholders, preparing technical and commercial offers, and ensuring timely and compliant proposal submissions that meet client requirements and maximize win probability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the proposal development process for E-House projects from enquiry through to final submission of bid and follow through till convert into sales order along with sales team.
Interpret customer requirements (technical specifications, ITB documents, RFQs) and ensure compliance in the proposal and take necessary clarification/deviation if any/confirm the costing with proper back up.
Coordinate inputs from engineering, procurement, costing, planning, and execution teams to develop a complete and accurate proposal.
Prepare and manage proposal documentation including commercial offers, BOQs, technical submissions, layouts, schedules, and compliance matrices.
Ensure alignment of proposal with project execution strategy, costing assumptions if any which needs to get approval from PD, and risk profile.
Conduct tender review meetings, risk reviews, and obtain internal approvals before submission.
Lead client clarifications, post-bid queries, and proposal revisions in coordination with internal stakeholders.
Work closely with Business Development and Sales teams to understand customer priorities and differentiators.
Maintain a proposal tracking system, database of past offers, and templates to support efficiency and consistency.
Support handover of awarded projects to project execution team with all proposal deliverables and assumptions clearly documented. Stay and continuity with project team till completion of project to ensure that our technical proposal are clear and no gaps between project and client side.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
7–10 years of experience in proposal/tendering roles within: -> E-House / Modular Buildings
-> EPC / Oil & Gas / Power / Utilities / Infrastructure sectors
Minimum 3 years in a lead or managerial role.
Proven track record of preparing and submitting technical commercial proposals for offshore projects.
Strong understanding of E-House project components, Enginering Layout, Planning tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication.

What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Chemical) required, along with 5+ years in technical sales, bid management, or business development in oil & gas, power generation, or industrial services with a successful track record.
Strong knowledge & diverse background in various compressors or industrial rotating equipment suppliers. Previous experience working for a Compression or major rotating equipment supplier is preferred.
Possessing a strategic focus with in-depth familiarity of centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors, or geared compressors, coupled with a grasp of compressor performance and application principles.
Compressor & System knowledge – 5+ years of firsthand experience in Compressor engineering, including aero & mechanical design, impeller fabrication, rotor construction, seals / bearings / couplings, assembly, testing, installation, servicing and repair of API-617 compressors. System knowledge in lube & seal packages, process controls such as startup, suction throttle, recycle & anti-surge control.
Application knowledge – Ability to “baseline” subject compressor with minimum required data (API datasheets, compressor cross-section). Promptly develop high-level solutions to initiate dialogue with clients.
Experience working with multinational organizations and in diverse cultural environments, demonstrating strong intercultural communication skills.
Effective at analysis, organization, and leadership, along with the skill to generate and carry out crucial outcomes on schedule and with excellent output.

Responsibilities
- Assist the solar design engineer in electrical, structural and civil design analysis, evaluations and review.
- Use of engineering software to simulate structural calculations and solar shading models for effective performance benchmarking.
- Support in maintaining and organizing design review data, ensuring accuracy and easy accessibility for ongoing projects.
- Conduct data collection and analysis for structural integrity assessments of solar projects. Assist to procure as-built drawings from BCA or other relevant authority departments.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings, contributing technical insights and assisting in drafting engineering documentation.
- Assist in SAP procurement cycles, inventory and vendor management for ongoing projects.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of structural and civil engineering principles, with interest in solar energy systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in data management.
- Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Equipped with some basic knowledge of SAP functions or willingness to learn how to operate SAP functions.
Learning Opportunities
- Understand key principles of structural and civil engineering applications in solar energy systems. In addition, expose to solar engineering in terms of performance simulation.
- Gain experience in data organization and management practices critical to design review workflows.
- Develop familiarity with solar design engineering software and tools.
- Acquire skills in collaborative project support, technical analysis, and documentation in a professional engineering environment.
- Ability to analyse and map business requirements into SAP functionality.
- Develop a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and how they are executed and managed through SAP
