Property Development Manager

Job Summary:

  • Develops schematic design from design brief and concept
  • Plans, controls and approves design work and changes
  • Undertakes management supervisory responsibilities for assigned projects from inception, conceptualisation, and design to project completion
  • Monitors and manages execution of assigned projects through regular review of status and progress from design to completion stages.
  • Organise, plan and set targets for construction activities, review construction requirements and methodology, optimise resource allocation and perform tender evaluation

  • Other duties as assigned by Director.

Requirements:

  • Degree / relevant qualification in Architecture, Construction Management, Civil & Structural, Engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years' experience, preferably with real estate developer or professional consultants
  • Project experience in industrial and commercial property including design development, construction, technical coordination, architectural detailing for implementation and familiar with authority submissions and approval procedures
  • Familiar with local construction contracts (SIA, REDAS, etc)

  • Minimum of 5 years' professional experience with a high degree of technical competence in real estate development for lodging assets with ability to manage all design and technical due diligence and ownership/ operations issues that arise including structural, IT, building envelope, MEP, environmental, sustainability, vertical transportation, fire/life safety, development and redevelopment and reporting.
