To ensure project success, the Project Manager - Engineering Delivery must work closely with Design Authority to oversee and approve evaluation studies on design alternatives, providing advice to both customers and internal technical teams. Additionally, they will need to liaise with customers on technical, architectural and procedural issues, preventing scope creep and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities also include defining engineering work breakdown structures, project organisation structures, task schedules, and associated engineering tasks. The manager must follow up on defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and address any discovered issues promptly, according to different project phases.
Effective communication is crucial, as the Project Manager - Engineering Delivery must perform periodic reporting to internal senior management and customers using our methodology and common methods such as SAFe/SCRUM.
