GENERAL
You will support the Community Engagement (CE) team in the co-ordination and delivery of several arts workshops, flagship projects, hosted visits for social service agencies (SSAs), offsite performances and the Esplanade volunteer programme. The role will involve working with internal and external parties to co-ordinate the successful development and delivery of a range of activities and projects.
The position requires great interpersonal skills, strong administrative and organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail, the ability to think clearly under pressure and to work well in a team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
WORKSHOPS, PROJECTS, OFFSITE PERFORMANCES AND HOSTING
- Support the CE team, to co-ordinate and deliver projects and activities to deadline and on budget.
- Coordinate and schedule offsite performances, arts workshops, and projects, both onsite and off-site, as well as Social Service Agency hosting to ticketed as well as non-ticketed programmes at Esplanade.
- Produce post-event CE reports.
- Provide timely update and communication with the CE team.
- Responsible for administrative work including preparing and maintaining all necessary records and reports for documentation purposes as well as photography and videography for archival
VOLUNTEER PROGRAMME
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and administration of the volunteer programme
- Act as a liaison with volunteers and relevant partners, training and onsite supervision of volunteers, and schedule and coordinate meetings.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree Holder in any field of study
- At least 1 year working experience.
- Able to multi-task, meet deadlines, manage, and prioritise your own workload.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Sufficient computer competency.
- Enthusiastic and flexible, able to use own initiative.
- Strong command in written and spoken English.
