Overview
Production Quality Engineer (NDT Level 3)
Facilitate a team of NDT Inspectors in the inspection of repaired and manufactured parts. Ensure that all equipment, chemicals and materials used for NDT meet the applicable specification requirements.
Responsibilities
Facilitate, train and coordinate the activities of the NDT team. Impart proper skills towards processing and inspection of all parts to ensure the needs for business in terms of inspection services are met as a result of an efficient and high performing team.
Maintain proper maintenance of NDT inspection systems so that they meet the requirements of regulating agencies.
Coordinate radiation-emitting area and personnel to be in compliance with all radiation safety regulations.
Maintain personnel expertise and formal certification in the appropriate NDT disciplines.
Develop the NDT staff with sufficient training and formal certification so that the needs of the business are adequately covered, including back-up.
Develop and approve NDT Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions and techniques.
Function as the primary technical interface and engineering resource on all NDT-related issues (preferable covering Radiography, MPI, FPI, UT, ECI).
Continuously explore and seek better, more efficient methods of performing NDT in the most optimal manner.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a seasoned NDT professional with advanced certifications (ASNT Level 3, NAS 410/EN4179 Level 3, PCN/AERO Level 3) and extensive expertise across multiple NDT processes (PT, MPI, ET, UT, RT). They possess strong leadership, facilitation, and problem-solving skills, along with a dynamic approach to optimizing inspection systems and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
Degree (Engineering or Material Science) or equivalent with 4 years as an NDT Level 3 in Aerospace industry.

Job Purpose

Lead and manage the company's QA/QC system across all EPC/EPCM projects to ensure full compliance with project specifications, client requirements, codes, and regulatory standards while fostering a strong quality culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO standards and project requirements.
