We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Optimization Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative products.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and optimizing the manufacturing process from receiving raw materials to shipping finished parts. This includes creating or updating work instructions, developing new processes, designing jigs and fixtures, and managing technical changes to meet customer requirements.
A strong background in mechanical/precision engineering is essential, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry. Experience with Master-CAM programming and hands-on experience with CNC milling/turning fabrication are highly preferred.
This is a permanent role with a competitive salary package and performance bonus. The working hours are 5 days a week (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm).

- Fundamental Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
- Ability to work 12 hours rotating shifts.

Job Summary: The Regional Lean Manufacturing Specialist is responsible for supporting the implementation and sustainability of lean principles across multiple facilities within the specified region. Key Responsibilities:
- Lean Support: Assist in the deployment of lean methodologies, including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Six Sigma, to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Training & Coaching: Provide training and coaching to employees at all levels to build lean capabilities and ensure consistent application of lean principles, leveraging the Agilent Supply Chain Excellence playbooks and materials.

- Performance Monitoring: Help develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure the impact of lean initiatives.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, quality, and supply chain, to drive lean initiatives and achieve operational goals.
- Change Facilitation: Assist in change management processes to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation, problem-solving, and proactive thinking among employees.
- Minimum BA/BS in Business, Engineering/Chemistry/Biology or related.
- 8+ experience with LEAN, CI, TPS, DBS, and/or Six Sigma tools and programs and related with demonstrated ability to lead and implement manufacturing excellence programs working in diverse teams.
- 2+ years management experience working in manufacturing, logistics, or operations.
- Demonstrated ability to work in matrix organizations with multiple stakeholders and with teams to organize and present business cases and coordinate resources across technical, operations, quality, site management and to improve productivity.
- Ability to travel 25-50% within base region with occasional travel globally.
This job has a full time weekly schedule.
