- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for product modules, mechanical assemblies, and electrical harness routing using industry-standard tools and software.
- Create test work instructions using modular designs, engineer inputs, and GUI screens to ensure seamless production flow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support PLM/SAP operations, documentation, and on-site validation of assembly processes.
- Assist in the design and development of CAD-based jigs and fixtures to improve production solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency for tooling and testing equipment.
- Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Control Engineering; manufacturing experience preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D modeling (e.g., PTC Creo), SAP PLM/ERP, and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP/scripting).
- Ability to interpret complex designs, GD&T, electrical/pneumatic schematics, and draft procedures/checklists.
- Knowledge of Lean, FMEA, 8D methodologies, and adherence to cleanroom protocols is beneficial.

Technician lll under DSM Flex Production Technical Support Department,
you will assist to oversee day to day operations of the production line and perform troubleshooting.
In this role, a typical day will include:
To operate & maintain DSM Flex line & LS1 Linear table manufacturing operations to manufacture quality products.
To communicate issues on assigned DSM Flex lines & LS1 Linear table to supervisor and plan for follow up actions.
To plan, coordinate and perform lot changes and maintenance of DSM Flex lines & LS1 Linear tables.
To perform troubleshooting on DSM Flex line and LS1 Linear table to ensure OEE targets are met.
To provide coaching and training for new production technicians when required.
Support non-conformance investigations, field action assessments and customer complaints investigations.
To ensure good 5S standards, batch documentation completeness in accordance to procedures for DSM Flex lines and supporting equipment such as autoclaves.
To provide operational and administrative support for projects and initiatives improving OEE, productivity, product quality or safety.
To initiate and execute at least 1 Kaizen idea per year.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
