We’re looking for an experienced Production Operator to manage the assembly of LEL sensors with precision and attention to detail. In this role, you'll follow detailed work instructions, perform tasks such as welding and epoxy application, and maintain production records. You’ll also work closely with your team to optimize production processes and meet daily targets. Educational & Work Experience:
- NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Polytechnic Diploma in Engineering, Electronics, or related technical disciplines preferred.
- Candidates with relevant ITE certifications and strong hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum 1–2 years of production or assembly experience, particularly in electronics, sensor assembly, or similar precision-based manufacturing environments.
- Experience in PCBA soldering and handling small components is required.
- Prior experience in a cleanroom or ISO-controlled production environment is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly tasks independently according to Work Instructions (WI) and quality standards.
- Ensure timely completion of daily production targets and output goals.
- Meet key performance indicators such as production completion rate, first-pass yield, and product quality.
- Support continuous improvement by suggesting or implementing process optimisations.
- Participate actively in training sessions to upgrade skills and knowledge.
- Maintain proper waste handling procedures and uphold 5S and safety practices on the production floor.
- Perform additional duties or support tasks as assigned by the supervisor or team lead.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English (speaking/writing proficiency)
- Proven experience in PCBA soldering.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hands-on skills for detailed work.
