We're seeking a Product Development Manager (R&D) to lead the design and commercialization of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for hospitals, laboratory, and healthcare facilities.

Permanent Position: Product Development Manager

Working Schedules: Monday - Friday, Office Hours

Remuneration: Up to $13,000 + VB and Permanent Benefits

Key Responsibilities:
  1. System & Software Requirements

  2. Lead development of System Requirements Specifications (SRS) based on clinical, operational, and regulatory needs.

  3. Translate system requirements into detailed Software Requirement Specifications (SRSW).
  4. Ensure compliance with ISO and relevant healthcare robotics standards.

  5. Functional Architecture & Design

  6. Define and maintain the functional architecture of robotic delivery systems (control, perception, localization, navigation, HMI subsystems).

  7. Collaborate with hardware/software/safety teams to ensure high availability, modularity, and fault tolerance.

  8. Risk & Safety Management

  16. Product Documentation & Release

  17. Lead creation of Product Manuals (user guides, safety, maintenance, troubleshooting).

  18. Maintain design and development artifacts under ISO 9001 document control.

  19. Commercial & Tender Support

  20. Partner with sales/commercial teams for technical documentation and compliance checklists.

  21. Support tender submissions with system specifications, solution overviews, and integration details.
  22. Join customer calls/demos to clarify system features, safety, and capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree/Master's in Robotics, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering (PhD a plus).
  • 7+ years in robotics, with 3+ years in AMRs (healthcare/logistics preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 3691-4, functional safety, risk compliance.
  • Hands-on with ROS/Gazebo, MATLAB/Simulink, CAD, DOORS/Polarion/Jama.
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
