Background
Our client is advancing digital transformation in piping design and construction workflows to reduce lead time and cost, specifically by eliminating dependency on Spoolgen. Their goal is to establish a process where Spool drawings and construction-ready data can be generated directly from Smart 3D (S3D).
They are also exploring Alteryx-based workflow automation to enable efficient cross-departmental data processing. To drive this initiative, they are seeking an experienced and hands-on engineer who can lead PoC and implementation efforts across design and construction functions.
Key Responsibilities
A. S3D-Based Spool Drawing & Data Automation
- Design spool division and drawing output rules using Smart 3D Isogen settings (without Spoolgen)
- Implement automated assignment of Spool IDs, Weld IDs, and other fabrication attributes in S3D
- Develop SQL-based tools for extracting construction-ready spool/weld data from S3D RDB
- Create batch tools for automated generation of PCF/DWG/PDF files for field use
B. Alteryx Workflow Optimization
- Design and build Alteryx workflows for joining, transforming, and formatting data from S3D and
other sources
- Automate generation of spool reports, weld maps, BOM summaries, and fabrication lists
- Connect with external systems (e.g., SAP, Excel, construction DBs) for cross-functional data
pipelines
- Develop scalable, user-friendly Alteryx workflows that can be operated by non-technical users

Required Qualifications (must have)
• 3+ years of experience in piping design, fabrication, or field construction in the plant/EPC industry

• Understanding of spool drawing structure and how such data is used in fabrication/construction

The Lead for PA Sales Domain Portfolio Sales Enablement plays a critical role in ensuring the market readiness, sellability, and lifecycle success of Siemens' portfolio across the Asia Pacific Zone. Acting as a strategic interface between HQ PLM, regional Sales, and Marketing, this role drives portfolio positioning and market success - from portfolio feedback and regulatory compliance to sales enablement and promotion initiatives. With deep portfolio knowledge, the Lead for PA Portfolio Sales Enablement influences successful launches, shapes distribution strategies and derives regional pricing development, man-ages quality and availability and supports sales through deep portfolio know-how and training. The role ultimately ensures that Siemens’ portfolio is competitive, compliant, and aligned with regional needs.
Main responsibilities
1. Portfolio Feedback & Adaptation
- Ensure portfolio “sellability” and “orderability” across all relevant Asia Pacific Zone LCBs.
- Understand and influence portfolio roadmap in HQ PLM by consolidating & prioritizing customer requirements from all channels and passing it on to the global level according to the market feedback process.
- Conduct market and product intelligence and collect competitor information, trends, and technologies and product lifecycle data to position the portfolio.
- Manage product specific quality topics and escalations of quality issues driving quality actions and delivery prioritizations.
- Manage portfolio safety and recall topics.
- Support pilot customers & PoCs for new products.
- Ensure product conformity with region-specific regulatory topics, technical standards and certification and licenses needs.
- Handle and address IP protection issues and grey channel cases
2. PLM Support
- Execute and manage product launches.
- Handle new product introduction and EOL.
- Drive incubation topics within Asia Pacific Zone and define GTM strategy for relevant LCB markets
3. Regulatory & Compliance
- Support customs department with import issues
- Provide product expertise for managing tariffs and trade regulations
4. Pricing
- Understand market and competitor pricing and provide input to HQ and relevant teams.
- Provide input to the Regional Pricing Manager to derive the price positioning and discount structures
5.Sales Enablement & Training
- Provide input and conduct training content for internal and external customers, incl. sales, partners, and other business areas coordinated by X-BU to harmonize DI approach.
- Support sales for portfolio-related questions as second-level support (supporting Sales Specialists as first-level support)
6. Marketing Intelligence & Brand Positioning
- Conduct analysis on existing markets and offerings, competitors, and new markets.
- Marketing interface on Zone: Communicating region-specific Sales requirements to Marketing
- Provide input for regional advertising
- Provide input for social media promotion
- Participate in developing winning guides
- Develop value-based sales argumentation for portfolio
- Provide input for sales campaigns in collaboration with Digital Industries communication and Marketing
- Drive zone specific adaptations of use cases / challenger campaigns in collaboration with DI Communication and Marketing and support roll-out in LCB/Country
- Provide subject-matter-expert input for articles, white papers, media, and PR
7. Stock & Inventory Management
- Manage regional stock strategy
