We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Practice Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our family medicine clinic. - Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless communication and efficient workflow.
- Manage patient records, maintain accurate data, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate scheduling, appointments, and billing transactions, guaranteeing timely payment and resolution of any discrepancies.
- Ensure proper inventory management, maintaining adequate stock levels and monitoring consumable items.
- Support overall clinic operations, including opening, closing, and vendor coordination.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to basic hygiene standards.
This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess experience in a similar role, preferably within a medical setting, and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing outstanding patient service.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Coordinating front desk activities, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient flow.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographics, medical history, and treatment plans.
- Preparing and distributing necessary documents, such as appointment cards, medication lists, and test results.
- Managing phone inquiries, responding to patient concerns, and escalating complex issues to healthcare professionals as needed.
- Assisting with special projects, events, or initiatives as directed by the management team.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent and/or relevant post-secondary education in a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within a medical or healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
