As the Data Governance & Catalog Lead, you will report to the Senior Director of Digital and play a pivotal role in shaping how enterprise data is cataloged, governed, and leveraged across an industrial/manufacturing environment. You will establish stewardship frameworks and governance policies in four critical areas:

1. Data catalog and lineage
2. Data quality measures and continuous improvement roadmap

• Define and monitor data quality KPIs and thresholds, establishing escalation and remediation processes.
• Translate enterprise-wide data retention/custody policies into domain-specific rules, balancing compliance with value capture from AI/ML/Gen-AI use cases.
• Guide data scientists and use case teams in identifying data requirements, sources, and ensuring data quality, integrity, and security.
• Draft initial data architectures and governance solutions to enable scalable use case deployment.
• Partner with IT, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to optimize data architecture, infrastructure, and platforms for industrial data management.
• Lead, coach, and mentor the data stewardship and governance team, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in data governance, cataloging, and industrial digitalization, evaluating their business value for future use cases.

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner, supporting Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.

Responsibilities

• Define and design organisation's data management and governance strategy.

You will join the central data management and governance team that reports to the Chief Data Officer (CDO), where you will work together with like-minded data governance professionals and data security experts.
