About the role
- As a Pricing Manager you manage a team of Pricing Analysts to together develop competitive, accurate price proposals for the sales team using pricing models, market intelligence, and additional inputs from relevant stakeholders. In collaboration with Sales, Finance, Sourcing, Marketing, Supply Chain, and other functions, you drive the profitability for your business unit. Your leadership supports the growth of your team and thos0e around you. An ideal candidate will enjoy forming relationships, analyzing complex pricing models, driving profitability and developing talents.
Key responsibilities include
- Manage team, ensuring pricing expertise, process execution, and team member development
- Support the members on complicated pricing flows / discussions with stakeholders and customers
- Lead all pricelist-related activities including, but not limited to managing trade terms, preparing the pricelist at a regional and local level, and conducting profitability analysis with MDs and Finance BPSs
- Understand the commodity market fundamentals and gather in-depth knowledge on the chocolate and cocoa manufacturing process in order to improve the pricing process
- Lead discussions with Sourcing team to make proactive recommendations for the hedging of our quarterly pricelist
- Lead development of a new dashboard that reflects region's requirements of the pricelist in conjunction with various stakeholders who will need to be consulting with such a new tool
- Collaborate with Sales leadership and Finance BPs to adapt pricing approach to our regional pricelist mechanism in view of the evolving market dynamics
- Create price quotations, support sales with customer negotiations and book contracts for business
- Take pricing ownership of assigned accounts in an independent and proactive way
- Understand how Pricing actions drive EBIT impacts and take decisions in the best interest of BC group
- Utilize relevant pricing models, understanding customer behaviours to drive accurate price setting
- Drive Self Service Pricing and other departmental initiatives with the team and the impacted stakeholders
- Review business performance with your finance counterparts and Managing Directors. Discuss and apply corrective actions in Pricing approach
- Assist management with training and onboarding of new team members
- Translate global or regional pricing principles / initiatives into concrete actions for your team
- Continuous evaluation of our processes and recommend improvements to management
About you
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics or a similar field
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Fluency in an additional Asian language is a plus
- Proficiency in PowerBI
- At least 5 years of professional working experience in a multinational environment, preferably in a manufacturing set-up
- Experience in managing or leading a commercial pricelist mechanism
- Additional experience in advance profit margin analysis and evaluation would be a plus
- Competent with Microsoft Office (Excel, and PowerBI)
- Good understanding of sales contract life cycle, contract pricing negotiations
- Hands on SAP knowledge is a plus
- Able to establish good relationships with a diverse regional team
- Able to communicate effectively in English both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Enthusiastic and resilient team member with a willingness to be flexible
- Good interpersonal skills to manage and co-ordinate with multiple internal stakeholders
- Able to balance commercial mindset with global pricing principles

Job Description
Role Summary
The job incumbent leads Automotive Aftermarket pricing activities within MANN+HUMMEL Singapore (MHSG). He / She analyzes sales input and market data in order to define price orientation and accordingly create customer price lists within MHSG. He/She also tracks GMS and CGMS development, manages quotations and price harmonization works. Focus will be put on digital solutions.
In addition to pricing tasks, the incumbent will spend some time on product management tasks like product portfolio development.
Main Tasks
Pricing
- Align and implement pricing strategy in responsible markets
- Analyze and review current internal cost (IC buying) structure, Gross Price List, price waterfall, customer buying price, competitor selling price, and other marketing intelligence data for price improvement, to meet market price and to develop multi branding price orientation across all responsible territories.
- Based on sales input and market data, to construct Gross Price List for different customer segments
- Monitor sales and profitability e.g. GMS, CGMS, discount impacts on sales, lost sales analysis
- Be gate-keeper of margins e.g. by part numbers, by projects, and overall profitability.
- Escalate potential cost related requests to Product Management Team for cost-down reviews.
- Upload price changes in system – SAP price maintenance
- Review of special price requests for tender business and track win/lost sales
- Work with and support sales on discounts, sales campaigns and promotions
- Oversee online and offline competitor prices for the responsible markets
- Project support for new strategy initiatives
- Increase range to achieve targeted market coverage, via expansion of globally available range to local range, as well as new part developments
Product Management
- Increase range to achieve targeted competitive market coverage
- Life-cycle management in terms of SOP, EOP, sourcing optimization, commercial portfolio analysis
Your Profile
- University degree in Business Administration or equivalent field of education
- 4+ years of relevant work experience in the aftermarket sector
- Experience in conducting research to identify trends and insights, and analyze to make useful reports and needful recommendations

Overview
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Strategy Manager to lead a team of pricing associates to lead the execution of our pricing strategy across all products in Traveloka. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, experience leading a team, and have the ability to translate data into meaningful pricing actions. This position reports to the VP of Pricing.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of pricing strategies and pricing experiments across all products in Traveloka
Guide team members to analyze market trends, competitor dynamics, and customer behavior to optimize pricing decisions
Model pricing scenarios and forecast revenue impact from pricing decisions undertaken
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply and marketing teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives
Monitor pricing performance and identify opportunities for further price optimisation
Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on pricing effectiveness and market trends
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
5 years of experience in pricing analytics or related fields.
Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as SQL, Python - are a plus.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills. Able to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus on pricing decisions.
