- Working knowledge of the marketplace conditions for the Communications Segment, including pricing, technology and supply/demand trends.
- Strong mechanical and electrical component knowledge and ability to read engineering drawings and electrical specifications.
- Understanding of the Bill of Material (BOM) structure and hierarchy, and the ability to analyze the BOM structure to the supporting engineering data.
- Knowledge of computer applications (Excel, MS Office) and the ability to learn and use multiple applications specific to this department, including ERP (SAP) and office systems.
- Knowledge of pricing practices and procedures.
- Has a good command in understanding of specific customer needs as it relates to the Industrial space.
- Strong communication, organization, negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines.
- Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
- Ability to consolidate, manipulate and analyze large quantities of data.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and drive for streamlined approach to completing repetitive activities
- Presentation of insights and solutions to opportunity stakeholders.
