Roles & Responsibilities

PURPOSE:

The Financial Analyst (Pricing) partners with the regional bid team and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the pursuit process to develop robust, data-driven financial cases for outsourcing and managed service opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

Pricing Strategy & Financial Modelling

  • Lead the development of comprehensive financial analyses for pricing options in outsourcing and managed services.
  • Build detailed, flexible financial models incorporating multiple pricing scenarios, sensitivity analyses, and profitability metrics.
  • Ensure pricing proposals meet both customer requirements and internal financial targets, balancing competitiveness with margin goals.
  • Support bid pursuit processes by modelling different deal structures, payment terms, and contractual scenarios.
  • Provide recommendations on optimal pricing approaches to maximise win probability while protecting profitability.

Deal Support & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with sales, solution architects, finance, and operations to gather inputs on customers and deal requirements.
  • Present pricing strategies, models, and justifications to internal reviewers and senior management to secure approvals.
  • Support bid reviews, negotiations, and contract finalization with financial insights and documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial teams to assess the financial impact of contract terms and risk clauses.

Process & Risk Management

  • Maintain and update pricing tools, templates, and financial databases to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and quantify potential financial risks in bids and proposals.
  • Provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies and contingency planning in deal pricing.
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance, approval processes, and industry regulations.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • 3 - 5 years of working experience, preferably as an analyst or in pricing/costing analysis
  • Advanced financial modelling knowledge in Excel
  • Strong understanding of cost structures, revenue recognition, and pricing methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret commercial and contractual terms in financial modelling.
  • Knowledge of pricing standards, competitive benchmarking and market analysis
  • Proficient in accounting standards applicable to service industry
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across all levels of management
  • Ability to cope with peak workloads, short deadlines and business pressures and skilled in

    prioritizing and managing multiple tasks
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse, foreign and multi-cultural environments

Job Scope:

  • Development of competitive and consistent pricing for global and regional tenders
  • Clarity service requirements, and obtain relevant inputs, e.g., shipping profile, customer strategy, larget prices. RFO response guidelines, etc.
  • Support conversations regarding the pricing strategy for each tender involved, providing solid justficaion of the approach to follow with the sales owners
  • Analyse proftablty and rate levels for existing and potental business and pricing: benchmarking against competition and pricing for other eustomers
  • Ensure "deep dive" cost analysis to determine customer-specific costs to serve, eg, special pickup, customer implanti dedicated linehaul, B2C service, value-added services, etc
  • Prepare consolidated prices in rate card formats and customer/RFQ templates
  • Ensure consistency of pricing across customers, products, countries, weight breaks; and enforcement of pricing policies
  • Ensure documentation of final price proposals and communication to relevant stak ebolders according to standards
  • Performance of global and regional customer pricing
  • Perform analysis of bide won/lost, propose recommendatons

Job Requirements:

  • Min. Degree in any relevant field
  • Min. 1-2 years relevant pricing experience

  • Ideally 3+ years of proven professional experience in commercial pricing, financial analysis and price modelling, preferably in integrated facilities management services
  • Problem solving mindset with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent teamwork, communication and analytical skills
  • Intermediate/ Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite such as Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI
  • Strong business acumen and Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for working with legal entities to manage the Group's operational transfer pricing ('OTP') matters, including managing OTP process for the Group.
  • Support consistent implementation of OTP processes and ensuring transaction flows and pricing align with TP policies and commercial goals.
  • Ensure the group's tax business model is consistently implemented across operations, with a specific focus on maintaining arm's length profitability for all entities.
  • Analyze and review large data and information to support and substantiate OTP decisions.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement and best practices for OTP process
