• Reading and interpreting technical specifications, blueprints, and drawings to determine machining operations.

• Setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC/Grinding/Lapping/CMM/Polishing/Pressure Blast/Peening/Lathe machines using approved blueprints, component drawing specifications, job instructions, and SOP.
• Performing daily 5S and machine preventive maintenance using approved PM checklists.
• Identifying and resolving technical issues and problems through basic machine troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Participating in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement of cell processes.
• Developing and maintaining personal qualifications as stated in company processes.
• Cross-training in other complementary skills and seeking endorsements for those skills as needed to support production requirements.
• Rotating between production assignments that utilize multiple skills endorsements as needed to support production requirements.
• Providing guidance and supervision to trainees in on-the-job training requirements.
• Assisting in the cross-training of other technicians as needed to support production requirements.
• Ensuring adherence to all applicable safety requirements and reporting any unsafe practices or conditions immediately.

Job Responsibilities

• Daily QC Oversight - support the Quality Manager in supervising QC inspectors and enforcing adherence to inspection SOPs

• First Article and New Product Inspection

• Review of Quality Documentation & Customer Submission

• Participate in internal / external audit on systems and processes (AS 9100 QMS)

• Work with the team / supplier to resolve non-conformance issues
