  1. Planning transmission network expansion and HVDC systems to meet load growth and generation needs.
  2. Consulting with large customers, agencies, EMA, gencos, and others for supply connections at 66kV and above.
  3. Designing network connections and supply networks for large customers at 66kV and above.
  4. Planning generation connections for gencos.
  5. Designing network reactive compensation devices for high voltage control and network utilization.
  6. Preparing agreements with customers, gencos, and other stakeholders.
  7. Developing project proposals and papers for EMA and management approval.
  8. Planning cable routes and connectivity to substations and customers/gencos.
  9. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

  1. A degree in Electrical Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
  2. Experience in transmission network planning or distribution network design preferred.
  3. Experience with power system analysis software preferred.
  4. 5 to 8 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  5. Good interpersonal, communication skills, and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
