">About This RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and equipment.
Your primary focus will be on planning, allocating, and assigning jobs to subordinates, while ensuring the effective implementation and control of the Design Control functions and quality system of the total Quality Management System.
You will work closely with clients and consultants to ensure that technical requirements are met, and coordinate with sales and marketing departments to secure contracts.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to continuously institute work improvements for the department, resulting in cost savings and reduced wastage.
Responsibilities- Design and develop electrical systems and equipment
- Plan, allocate, and assign jobs to subordinates

- At least 5 years' electrical design experience in electrical engineering industry
- Knowledge of switchboards/panels (marine or industrial) design is an advantage

- Further knowledge or experience in DCgrid power system and switchgear control for ship/VFD control and integration with Azimuth Thruster/Energy management for Hybrid ship is an advantage
- 5 days work week from 8:15 am to 5:45 pm

to work on electrification projects and high‐voltage traction power solutions for rail and road‐bound transport.
Responsibilities
Engineer and design electrification projects, ensuring timely delivery of design documents.
Lead the design and execution of electrical packages for traction power systems (MV switchgear, DC switchgear, trackside equipment, power converters, transformers, and auxiliary systems).
Coordinate with clients, external consultants and vendors during clarification meetings and review processes.
Support the Design Manager with ad‐hoc design activities and the preparation of FATs, training, O&M manuals, and as‐built drawings.
Work closely with Siemens AG teams and project stakeholders to verify design, draft, and site interfaces, ensuring final deliverables meet customer requirements.

Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Railway Systems, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in electrification projects, preferably in MRT or similar high‐volume rail projects.
Strong background in AC and DC electrification systems, including control and protection.
Experience managing medium‐to‐high‐complexity solution projects.
Knowledge of local transportation operators and legal requirements.
Adaptable to diverse working environments and customer terms.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in the electrification projects for MRT projects.
Good experience in AC and DC Electrification systems including Control and Protections.
Good experience in handling medium-to-high complexity of solution projects.
Well verse of Local transportation operators and legal requirement.
Adaptable to different working environments and customer working terms and conditions.
