We are looking for a talented Power Generation Field Service Technician – Level II to join our team based in Tuas, Singapore. This is an Onsite role reporting to the Service operation Manager. Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to generators and components at the customer’s site. This role will also require travelling within Singapore.

Applies the use of specialized tools and follows documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete less complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.
Performs preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power generation products in the field.
Escalates unresolved issues to more experienced Field Service Technicians and/or Supervisor Completes required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
Completes training in line with skill and business requirements.
Maintains service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to site management and to their supervisor.

Electronic Service Tool Application - Identifies the suite of available hardware and software tools required for a service event; utilizes the appropriate electronic tool set to maintain the product or diagnose and troubleshoot an issue; interprets electronic tool results or recommendations to determine next steps for service resolution.
Engine Systems Interactions - Interprets and analyzes the interactions of internal and external electrical and mechanical systems (exhaust, heating, cooling, fuel systems, driveline, aftertreatment, controls, sensors, etc.) by applying tools, service publications (Cummins, Original Equipment Manufacturer) and taking measurements to efficiently and correctly diagnose and repair.
Power Generation Systems Knowledge - Demonstrates knowledge of Cummins and industry standards by complying with all safe work procedures including Personal Protective Equipment to create a safe work environment; interprets and analyzes Power Generation system operation and integration (switch gear, power system controls, uninterruptable power supply, etc.) by applying tools, service publications (Cummins, Original Equipment Manufacturer) and taking measurements to efficiently and correctly diagnose and repair.
Product Repair and Maintenance - Repairs and maintains mechanical/electrical products following guidelines, using required tools within standard repair time to ensure a quality repair; disassembles and assembles engines or power generators following guidelines, using required tools to ensure a clean and organized environment; inspects and replaces parts and components following re-use guidelines to minimize customers cost of ownership; performs progressive damage check following guidelines to restore to pre-failure condition.
Service Documentation - Creates and verifies customer, equipment and technical information; captures specific data using required service tools; follows procedures and documents required information in the service management system in order to have an accurate record of the work done.
Technical Escalation - Obtains product technical issue information and utilizes available resources including data management tools; elevates issues to a higher level of expertise, balancing timeliness of customer response with investigation efforts; captures all troubleshooting steps in the appropriate database in order to ensure seamless transitions and accurate response to ticket resolution in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Qualifications:
Apprentice Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred)
Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
Current relevant electrical certification
Locally valid driving permitThis position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Basic level field service work experience
Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with of power generation productsHigh Voltage/ Low Voltage experience
Customer service experience
Able to perform some mechanical work or work with a team to complete engine overhauling
Use Cummins software tool for troubleshooting
Able to response for 7/24 emergency deployment
No cross-border relocation support provided.

Generate new business opportunities and propose potential business deals by contacting potential customers, decision makers and target accounts. Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements and evaluate options.
Work closely with local, regional, and global teams to close new business deals with persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential key accounts/customers to do business with PS. Collaborate to establish long‐term working relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers at different management levels across key accounts' organizations.
Establish, cultivate, and maintain key relationships with end customers, influencers, and contractors. This can be done in conjunction with distribution partners and direct engagement.
Uncover and build opportunity pipelines with Sales, end customers and advance through the sales stages progressively till deal closure. Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within PS's CRM and sales/project management system.
Establish budgetary forecasts and sales volume targets for the SEA DC market.
Collaborate with Sales to assess level of involvement required from distribution to ensure success of closing business and project opportunities. Provide project guidance for price and quotation strategy to distribution network.
Identify and support qualification of strategic alliances to expand PS solution, products, and services; and business networking to leverage into additional markets.
Provide front‐line Data Center related marketing and technical support to distribution partners and dealers, as necessary.
Analyze sales and market data to provide relevant information to senior management for decision making.
Play an active role in promoting PS in trade events and associations. Work with Marketing and Engineering to create, prepare and present technical papers and other application‐specific white papers for marketing collateral, trade journals and conferences.
Be the expert in Data Center power products and solutions, industry standards and overall on‐site power system design and integration.
Travel
This position requires travel up to 50%.
Qualifications
Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant sales experience in the power generation business.
Solid proven direct and channel sales track record. Able to present and negotiate with senior executives and decision makers both internally and externally.
