Role Overview:
As a Waste Water Treatment Lab Technician , you will play a vital role in conducting laboratory analysis and reporting, assisting chemists in technical development projects, and maintaining laboratory facilities/equipment.
Job Description:
- Conduct final sample preparation in the final sampling room.
- Conduct laboratory analysis and reporting.
- Assist chemists in technical development projects.
- Maintain the inventory of all laboratory facilities/equipment.
- Check, record, and report on the inventory of all laboratory supplies.
- Carry out calibration and maintenance of all laboratory equipment as per schedule or instructed.
- Ensure good housekeeping in the laboratory.
- Follow the existing system and documentation as per procedures.
- Update relevant records.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must have at least an ITE or Diploma in Chemistry/Chemical Process Technology/Material Science or equivalent. Working experience in precious metal/base metal is an added advantage.
Benefits:
The successful candidate will be entitled to OT (Overtime) pay and Company Transport/Transport Allowance ($120) if they possess their own transport.
Working Arrangements:
Monday to Friday (8am - 5pm); Saturday (8am - 12pm).

Overview
We are looking for a Senior Marine Scientist to support our team in proposal management, project management, technical execution and quality assurance of our growing project portfolio. You will be based in our Singapore office and be responsible for taking leadership of complex and technically challenging projects, mentoring and training staff, meeting Clients and managing Client’s expectations. You will have a business leadership responsibility for growing DHI’s services and products in relevant territories in the region.
Ideal candidate
At minimum a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, science or oceanography.
~10 years’ experience in execution of challenging technical coastal/marine projects, such as EIA, feasibility, climate change or metocean studies.
Strong numerical modelling expertise.
Experience with using MIKE by DHI software suite will be considered favourably.
Experience with programming language like Matlab, Python or R will be considered favourably.
Success in preparation of technical and financial proposals to secure new projects.
A record of technical conference/journal publications will be advantageous.
Fluent in written and spoken English with excellent report writing skills.
Specialised assessment experience
Water Quality Analysis : Analyse large and complex environmental datasets (e.g., flow, temperature, nutrient concentrations, dissolved oxygen, chlorophyll-a, and turbidity etc) to identify spatial and temporal trends, anomalies, and correlations. Apply a strong understanding of physical and biochemical processes governing aquatic systems—such as nutrient cycling, oxygen dynamics, algal blooms, and sediment interactions—to interpret observed patterns and inform modelling, management strategies, and regulatory reporting.
Water Quality Modelling : Develop and apply numerical model to support modelling projects focused on simulating nutrient dynamics, contaminant fate and transport, oxygen balance, and sediment-water interactions in coastal and freshwater environments.
Water Quality Reporting : Develop and maintain automated scripts for extracting model results, post-processing and plotting with quality review. Responsible for preparation of technical reports and presentations.

Overview
Asst Director / Sr Engineer in the Catchment and Waterways Department’s Catchment Surveillance Unit, you will be part of a team responsible to plan and manage surveillance and enforcement works related to illegal discharges, illegal fishing and illegal abstraction of raw water at reservoirs, catchment and waterways.
What You Will Be Working On
Plan, schedule and optimise resources for site surveillance, inspection and sampling works, including the conduct of stakeouts.
Lead the team to investigate and trace sources of illegal or pollutive discharges at reservoirs and waterways, and gather evidence to support enforcement actions.
Review recommended enforcement actions (e.g., notice of offence, composition fine, prosecution) for offenders and cases that do not comply with Regulations and Acts (e.g., PUA/SDA/EPMA).
Call tenders and manage/administer contracts related to surveillance and sampling works.
Implement, review and enhance work procedures with contractors (e.g., rostering of patrols, documentation of evidence, escalations of incidences).
Ensure all feedback cases are followed up and closed promptly by the team.
