Roles and Responsibilities of Plumbing Supervisor

1. Overall-in-charge of sanitary, plumbing and sewerage works.

2. With minimum 4 years of experience as a plumbing and sanitary supervisor and have a valid license to practise.

3. Supervise, schedule, evaluate, and assign work to workers and maintain quality control, monitor work progress, and make sure that safety procedures are adhered to.

4. Able to read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, sanitary and sewerage systems

5. Collaborate with other construction professionals or contractors and work in tandem with them to ensure everything goes according to plan during renovation or new construction works.

6. Responsible for the management of on-site workers to ensure smooth operation and the works are carried out in accordance with design drawings, construction specifications and related atlases.

7. Analyse jobs and work order requests to plan material, labour, and time requirements and provide costs estimates when required.

8. Response to emergency situations and provide for plumbing and sanitary service response at all times

9. Attend to ad hoc duties which may be assigned by the Management.

10. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Plumber to join our construction team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems on construction sites. Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage systems, and sanitary fixtures.

Read and interpret construction drawings, plumbing layouts, and specifications.

Lay out pipe routes and assemble fittings and valves for installation.

Perform pressure testing and leak detection on installed systems.

Coordinate with other trades (e.g., electricians, HVAC) to ensure smooth workflow on site.

Comply with local building codes, PUB (Public Utilities Board) requirements, and site safety protocols.

Monitor inventory of materials and report usage or shortages.

Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues on active construction sites.

Perform work at various construction sites across Singapore as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of hands-on plumbing experience in construction projects.

Strong understanding of plumbing systems and tools.

Ability to read and follow technical drawings and blueprints.

Familiarity with Singapore's plumbing codes and safety regulations.

Physically fit and able to work in different site conditions and environments.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to travel to different job sites across Singapore.

Basic understanding of safety procedures and use of PPE.

Education:

No formal education qualification required.

Trade certifications or relevant courses are a plus but not mandatory.
