Our team is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join our operations. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, specifying, recommending, developing and commissioning customized automated equipment and machinery.
You will conduct cost/benefit analyses, develop Statement of Work for proposals, machine specifications and FAT/SAT. You will analyze operational problems and develop/implement engineering solutions for existing or new processes.
Additionally, you will perform robotic and line control interface programming in accordance with industry and company guidelines. You will conduct risk assessments, robotic system safety specifications, in accordance with Company's EHS and industry requirements.
Moreover, you will utilize Company's quality tool (CORE) to foster robust project plans, status, schedules and communications to key stakeholders.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will also have the opportunity to work on various projects, including automation deployment in operations.
Qualifications and Work ExperienceTo succeed in this role, you should have a degree in engineering or related discipline (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Robotics).
You should also have at least 3 years' working experience in delivering Robotic and automated solutions. Additionally, you should have knowledge of PLC/HMI programming for robot interface would be an advantage.
Other preferred skills include:
- Able to interpret drawing and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & tolerancing)
- Competent in Unigraphics and/or other CAD/CAM applications
- Competent in industrial robot handling and offline robot programming software (RoboGuide, RobotStudio, Robotmaster, etc.)
- Lean Six Sigma or other problem-solving tool
