• Plan, organize, day-to-day operations of the facility
• Be responsible for the overall maintenance and repair works of the plant equipment

RESPONSIBILITIES

Purpose of this role:

To ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of all technical aspects of production — including camera, sound, and lighting — by coordinating resources, scheduling crew, managing external vendors and supporting production teams in delivering high-quality outputs.

Scope:

• Plan crew schedules and assign tasks based on production requirements.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure technical and manpower needs are met.
• Call for quotations, negotiate and manage external vendors for external crew and additional equipment requirements.
• Provide hands-on support in troubleshooting technical issues during shoots.
• Ensure operational efficiency, safety, and adherence to production timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage roster for cameramen, soundmen, lighting men and camera crew assistants.
• Assign crew members to productions based on skills, availability and workload.
• Plan and prepare technical setups (camera rigs, sound systems, lighting arrangements) ahead of each shoot.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained, calibrated and in working order before deployment.
• Source quotations, compare vendors and recommend cost-effective solutions for equipment and filming services.
• Manage relationships with vendors.
• Coordinate with productions to align technical requirements with manpower schedules.
• Oversee on-site technical execution, providing immediate solutions to any operational issues.
• Monitor and track equipment usage, servicing schedules and consumables.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Production & Operations Coordinator.

This position serves as the key link between management, production, quality control, and customers — ensuring seamless communication, accurate job tracking, and timely order fulfilment.

The ideal candidate is organised, proactive, and enjoys coordinating across teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. While prior experience in manufacturing or surface treatment is not required, a willingness to learn the basics of chemistry and production processes will be beneficial. Key Responsibilities

Coordination & Communication

• Act as the primary liaison between the General Manager, Production, and Quality teams.

• Communicate job priorities, track schedules, and ensure smooth information flow.

• Coordinate with customers on job status, delivery timelines, and documentation requirements.

• Support management in planning production workload and resolving scheduling issues.

Operations Support

• Receive and verify incoming job orders and related documents.

• Prepare job travellers, update production tracking systems, and monitor work-in-progress (WIP).

• Assist in maintaining an organised workflow and proper job documentation.

Quality & Process Support
