This position is responsible for operating the Antioxidant (AO) manufacturing plant while ensuring compliance to all production, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), and quality standards. Key responsibilities include operating production units according to local and company EHS rules and regulations, Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs), and as instructed by the Production Engineer.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work at Jurong Island and accommodate a 24/7 shift schedule. We are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of chemical processes and experience in a chemical plant environment. Basic knowledge of process flow and ability to perform tasks such as raw material and catalyst filling, SAMACO rounds, preparation of equipment for Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), 5S rounds, filter change outs, and other field operator routines are essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or other related engineering qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a chemical plant required; however, fresh graduates with relevant internship experience encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of chemical processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Technician to join our engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the electrical and mechanical plant & equipment of the hotel.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment
- Assisting in assigned renovations or expansion works within the hotel
- Highlighting technical issues that require attention
- Supporting the duty engineer in work requests
Requirements:
- Passion for Engineering
- Understanding of engineering equipment
- Ability to take on new challenges
- Excellent communication skills in English (and local language)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently

Job Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment as per standard procedures.
- Inspect equipment and carry out necessary corrective actions.
- Update maintenance records, including checklists and history cards.
- Log daily activities and completed jobs in the maintenance logbook.
- Reduce equipment breakdowns and downtime through proactive problem identification.
- Overhaul and service fans, blowers, pumps, motors, and other mechanical equipment.
- Install new equipment and conduct inspections to ensure reliable operation.
Job Requirement
- Good interpersonal and communication skill
- Have hands on maintenance skill on mechanical component
- Preferably if with background from process plant
- Able to commit 5.5 days and shift work if assigned
