- We are seeking a seasoned Project Planning Coordinator to support our project director/manager in coordinating and planning project activities to meet timelines and deliverables.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of project life cycles, be proficient in Primavera P6 scheduling software, and possess strong analytical skills.
- This role involves managing baseline and working programme schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring alignment with project milestones.
- The successful candidate will prepare monthly payment requests, incorporating the monthly progress status and physical work-done (progress percentage), with the support of the quantity surveying team and coordination with construction teams.
- A key aspect of this role is managing and controlling construction schedule updates, revisions of the master programme/schedule, and other planning/control documents.
- The Project Planning Coordinator will monitor resources, progress of works, and compile records for timely submission to clients.
- Regular project updates will be provided in weekly/monthly reports, progress updated programme summaries, variation orders, and extension of time assessments.
- The successful candidate will work closely with consultants, contractors, and suppliers on planning and project execution.
- Participation in meetings with clients and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and timely issue resolution is essential.
- The Project Planning Coordinator will conduct technical reviews to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Additionally, they will assist in tender submissions, method statements, and claims preparation.
- Oversight of on-site safety and environmental compliance, including identifying potential hazards and reviewing method statements, is also required.
Requirements
- Civil Engineering degree from a recognized institution.
- At least five years of experience in construction planning and programme coordination for underground railway projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software is essential.
- Good understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing.

- Work closely with the Purchaser on materials JIT program & ways to minimize aging materials
- Analyse order forecast accuracy, review safety stock requirement based on Sales Trend
- Generate monthly report & other duties as assigned
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Production Planning/ Supply Chain Management/ Project Management would be desirable
