Job Summary:
The Offshore Placement Coordinator is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, supervising, implementation, control and completion of the placement, installation and/or change-out of offshore cementing equipment on offshore drilling units. This is to be done in compliance with company strategy, goals, standards and policies.

- Reports to Operations Support Manager
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Complies with all Company, Client and Regulatory HSE and Quality standards, policies and procedures. Maintains required HSE and Quality certifications up-to-date. Effectively applies, audits and enforces same.
- Prepares proposal for assigned project based on a rig survey and client requirements (to include drawings, plans, layouts, required resources and timelines). Works with the Offshore Placement Support group (Subject-Matter Experts (SMEs), TLM and Contractors) to ensure the project is technically sound.
- Ensures installation/change-out proposal is approved and accepted by Client, Rig Contractor and Shipyards. Revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identifies and selects resources needed for a project with the help of, and approval from, the Offshore Placement Project Leader. Manages and coordinates these resources to ensure successful start-up and completion of an equipment installation/change-out with no delays or HSE/SQ issues.
- Coordinates, manages and follows up on the progress of a project with Clients, Rig Contractors, Shipyards, Sub-Contractors and the Offshore Placement Supervisor. Holds regular status meetings with project teams.
- Manages the operational aspects and the resources (equipment, M&S parts, logistics, personnel, SME’s and sub-contractors) assigned to an installation/change-out in conjunction with the Offshore Placement Project Manager. Resolves and/or escalates any issues in a professional and timely fashion.
- Coordinates & Supervises the commissioning of installed WS equipment on site. Responsible for final commissioning reports.
- Works with TLM, Supply Chain and others to ensure all the correct equipment, materials and consumables required for an installation/change-out are ordered and delivered on time with no errors or delays.
- Works to minimize exposure and risk to personnel and equipment on an equipment installation/change-out project.
- Ensures project documentation and reports are up-to-date, complete, current, and filed appropriately.
- Manages each installation/change-out project budget. Tracks and reports costs and utilization of resources (equipment, personnel, M&S and contractors). Ensures timely and accurate reporting of same.
- Develops relationships with Clients and Rig Contractors. Reports information of proposed client/rig activity.
- Ensures maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of offshore cementing equipment is performed as required in accordance with safe working practices and WS standards and procedures.
- Keeps installation/change-out team well informed of progress of a project and any changes. Effectively communicates relevant project information to OFP management and other team members as appropriate.
- Possesses an understanding of WS cementing equipment, systems and processes. Maintains awareness of new technologies and the potential application for existing or new projects.
- Conducts effective performance evaluations and mentors and coaches employees through required training.
- Suggests areas for improvements in internal processes and equipment along with possible solutions using InTouch.
Previous Experience and Competencies:
- Field Operations experience in well construction equipment (8 years or more)
- Offshore Placement Supervisor experience preferred (at least 2 years or more)
- Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager with relevant experience in well construction equipment maintenance and repair preferred
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project Planner and understanding of technical and engineering drawings and schematics.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Sales: Work alongside experienced employees to learn how we build our client base and establish and maintain long-term client relationships. Assist with developing and presenting investment ideas and the fundamentals of selling and cross-selling the Firm’s products
- Trading: Develop and execute trading ideas and analysis, and support all aspects of the market-making trade execution process, from research analytics on trades to relative value analysis
- Structuring: Use innovative and solutions-based approach to designing both investment and risk management products across all asset classes
- Research / Strategy: Analyze market fundamentals and liaise with researchers to develop investment recommendations for internal and external clients
- Analytics: Provide quantitative and qualitative analytics around client revenue and profitability; work to efficiently manage commission dollars by creating increased transparency around the services that clients value
Qualifications and Skills
