We're developing a next-generation analytical database that enables efficient and real-time data-driven decision-making on massive datasets. Our initial product was forked from Clickhouse, but we've since undergone significant re-architecture to improve efficiency and scalability.

We're now ready to serve our business partners via various cloud vendors. Our goal is to build an industry-leading OLAP database system that sets new standards for performance and reliability.

1. Participate in designing and implementing storage engines for distributed databases (cloud-native architecture) to build an industry-leading OLAP database system.
2. Responsible for/participate in engine-related design, implementation, testing, optimization, integration, and other work.
3. Build a storage engine with high throughput, low latency, and high fault tolerance, analyze system performance bottlenecks, and create an extreme system.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Database Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining database applications and scripts using Oracle SQL.

• Develop and maintain the ERD and schema of CIM databases
• Design, develop, implement and maintain CIM database applications and scripts
• Monitor data integrity and performance of CIM database and interfaces
• Provide support to ensure system uptime
• Collaborate with System Administrators and DBAs to ensure system availability, stability and performance

The ideal candidate should have a degree in Computer Science or related fields with at least 3 years of working experience in CIM related fields. Good knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, UNIX/LINUX scripting and Java development is required. Experience with MES, TIB/RV and shop floor automation is an advantage.
