- Collaborate with the construction team to ensure accurate fabrication and installation of pipe supports, piping, tubing, and site routes in line with project specifications and drawings.
- Resolve technical challenges and inter-discipline issues by communicating with both design and execution teams.
- Prepare and manage site instructions, engineering site queries, and documentation of changes, ensuring timely resolutions and proper tracking.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety standards during construction activities.
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and proactively address any discrepancies.
- Foster communication between all project stakeholders – including subcontractors, construction, and commissioning teams – to ensure seamless execution.
- Provide technical guidance to optimize workflows and troubleshoot issues arising during construction and pre-commissioning, including coordination with relevant vendors.
- Strong expertise in piping design, layout, and marine systems.
- 15–20 years of experience in piping design, including floating production systems and site construction.
- Hands-on involvement in FEED, Proposals, Basic & Detailed Design, and Construction phases.
- A proactive approach with the ability to take initiative in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable working in an international and fast-changing setting.
- Proficiency in Aveva Marine/PDMS Design and Navisworks.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced piping systems engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the design and analysis of piping systems, with a strong background in ASME codes and Caesar II software.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct pipe stress analysis of piping systems as per ASME Codes using Caesar II software.
- Design all piping support components.
- Review client technical requirements for piping stress engineering and establish the Stress Design Basis/Philosophy for various load cases, specifications, standards, and guidelines for stress engineering execution.
- Prepare stress critical line lists as per the critical line selection criteria.
- Perform static analysis using CAESAR II for load cases such as dead weight, sustained loads, thermal expansion/contraction, wave acceleration, hog/sag deflections, occasional and environmental loads, blast load, fatigue, slug, transportation, module lift, and vibration analysis (FIV and AIV).
- Coordinate the design of exclusive pipe supports as needed.
- Evaluate nozzle loads utilizing WRC 107/297 capabilities in Caesar II.
- Perform FEA evaluations of stresses at nozzles or for determining user-calculated SIFs using NozzlePro, FE/Pipe, or other FEA software.
- Provide magnitude of hydrostatic and operating loads acting on guides and supports.
- Participate in reviews of PFDs, P&IDs, piping ISOs, and structural drawings.
- Deliverables include specifications, design calculations, progress reports, correspondence, procedures, bid evaluations, Engineering Change Notices, study reports, and various third-party submissions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Over 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas FPSO, offshore platforms, petrochemical, or refinery industries.
- Minimum of 8 years as a Piping Stress Engineer or Lead Stress Engineer for FPSO/offshore platform-based projects.
- Strong knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with codes, standards, regulations, and practices applicable to the design and construction of onshore and offshore structures or production facilities.
- Expert knowledge in Caesar II pipe stress analysis software.
- Expert knowledge of offshore piping design and industry codes.
- Experience in AVEVA Modules (E3D, MDS, AVEVA Engineering) is a plus.
- Proficient in Navisworks.
