1. Perform piping design and pipe support design.

2. Interpret and develop PFD & P&ID.

3. Apply international standard and practices such as ASME, ANSI code. Familiar with pipe / tank specifications, nozzle specifications and orientation of nozzles.

4. Perform Material Take Off (MTO) from piping drawings.

5. Perform pipe stress analysis and surge analysis.

6. Responsible for reviewing of piping/mechanical documents and specification from clients and consultants.

7. Responsible for review and check of all piping/mechanical documents and drawings from vendors and suppliers.

8. Prepare technical datasheet and specification.

9. Co-ordinate with engineers of either disciplines within the department.

10. Liaise with clients, consultants, sub-contractors to resolve technical issue at site or in office.

11. Lead and interface within inter-disciplines for all technical matters.

12. Pre-procurement preparation including evaluation of technical and commercial bid from vendor and supplier.

13. To provide engineering support in tendering of new project such as preliminary design, material and cost estimates etc.

14. Provide technical support to project team for on-going projects and resolve any technical issue on site.ue on site.

Support the plants in the detailed design and 3D modeling of piping systems, equipment, and associated structures in various engineering projects.
Conduct field checks to validate the integrity of proposed piping design
Lead and conduct 3D Model review, conduct site walkdown
Manage the contracts and work performance of the external piping designers according the plant's work demand and negotiate service level agreements.
Framework administration of advanced software tools such as Aveva E3D in collaboration with the global piping team.
Participate in change management processes for piping related changes, in doing so, analyze and evaluate the feasibility and relevance.
Ensuring that the piping designs adhere to safety standards and project/plant requirements.

Job Description

As a Civil Engineering Design Specialist, you will be responsible for creating precise and accurate drawings using CAD software. This includes plans, elevations, sections, and details.

• Drafting: Create detailed and precise drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details using CAD software. Interpret and implement design concepts provided by engineers or architects into detailed and accurate drawings.
• Design Coordination: Collaborate with civil and structural engineers to ensure that drafting designs align with project specifications and requirements. Review design documents to identify potential conflicts or issues and propose solutions.
• Document Management: Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of all drawings, revisions, and related project files. Ensure that all drawings comply with industry regulations.
• Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Communication: Work closely with project teams, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to address design-related queries and provide clarifications.

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
• Knowledge of Bentley, Fuzor, Synchro, Navisworks is advantageous.
• Understanding of civil and structural engineering principles and construction methods.
