Repsonsbilities:

• Manage and monitor full patient cycle: perform an initial evaluation, establish a treatment plan, progress treatment and goals, communicate to physician, discharge, and follow-up.
• Accompany patients during their physician visits

• Complete patient documentation in a timely manner including but not limited to, initial evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, daily S.O.A.P. notes, functional status reports, functional capacity evaluations and insurance/plan of care forms as necessary
• Provide local community service such as hosting a booth, presenting in-services, provide coverage at special events, perform complimentary screenings, etc
• Establish and develop professional relationships with Athletico’s referral sources including, but not limited to, physicians, PAs, ARNPs, chiros, case managers, etc.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Degreed from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
• Work Experience:
  • 1-2 years of Athletico PT experience
• Certification/Licensure:
  • Must have an active clinician license or compact privileges in the state where services will be provided prior to beginning assignments; no temporary state licenses will be accepted
• Knowledge and Technical Skills:
  • Current CPR Certification

Language Skills:

As a skilled Physical Therapist Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from physical, psychological, and behavioral deficits. Your comprehensive rehabilitation and recovery plans will ensure patient safety and effectiveness of intervention.

• Assess patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans to maximize their functional abilities.
• Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose conditions, and provide evidence-based treatments to support patients' rehabilitation progress.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare necessary reports to track patients' progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and delivery.

• A recognized degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.

As a Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to patients who require assistance with physical and occupational therapy treatment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Administering routine physical and occupational therapy treatment under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
• Assisting patients with ambulation training using walkers, braces or parallel bars.
• Facilitating exercises using physiotherapy equipment to aid in patient recovery.
• Supervising patients as they practice daily living activities and leisure participation.
• Planning and leading group exercise and activity sessions with the guidance of a licensed therapist.
• Maintaining accurate records of patient treatment plans and progress.
• Cleaning and sterilizing rehabilitation equipment and areas.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be required to possess exceptional organizational skills, have superb interpersonal and communication abilities, and demonstrate a keen attention to detail. Previous experience in a healthcare environment is preferred but not essential.
