Job Description
The main mission of the Physical Education Teacher is to help students acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to meet the expectations of the French Physical Education and Sports programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Teaching PE to primary school students
Designing and implementing learning or teaching situations based on French programs and standards
Designing and implementing assessment methods of student’s learnings, in liaison with other teachers or professional partners
Ensuring students acquire skills including capacities, attitudes and procedural knowledge
Leading the class and foster students’ interest and participation
Provide personalized monitoring of students by working closely with their family and participate in their educational project
Contributing to teamwork
Contributing to the operation of the school and its growth (involvement in projects and events, etc.)
Adapting his/her teaching to the diversity of students providing them with the support they need and guaranteeing their inclusion
Using information and communication technologies to support learnings
SKILLS, ABILITY AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
Fluency in both French and English is preferred; however, strong proficiency in at least one of the two languages is required.
Work experience in teaching sports in kindergarten and elementary level required
Experience in teaching swimming and climbing
Preferably with experience abroad or in international schools
Some theoretical knowledge of French curriculum
Ability to adapt and benevolence
Very good writing and speaking skills
Strong ability to work in a team and to invest in projects
Good use of IT education softwares
Ability to adapt to french-speaking and non french-speaking students
Ability to provide instruction adapted to a wide variety of students
Ability to work in a transversal and multidisciplinary way
WORKING CONDITIONS
Full-time position
Remuneration will be based on company salary scale

Essential Criteria :
• A relevant degree and teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting students' well-being.
