About Pawkit

Pawkit is Singapore's first tech-enabled housecall platform for pets. We bring professional grooming, veterinary, and wellness services directly to pet owners' homes. We are growing our team of skilled Housecall Groomers to deliver safe, high-quality grooming services for cats, dogs, rabbits, and guinea pigs.

As a Housecall Groomer with Pawkit, you will provide grooming services in pet owners' homes, ensuring both pets and owners have a stress-free experience. You should be confident with handling a variety of species, adaptable to different home environments, and committed to Pawkit's standards of care and professionalism.

• Perform grooming services for cats, dogs, rabbits, and guinea pigs (basic grooming, full grooming, breed-specific trims, nail clipping, ear cleaning, etc.).
• Provide a safe, low-stress experience for pets, using handling techniques aligned with Pawkit's fear-free standards.
• Communicate with pet owners clearly and professionally before, during, and after appointments.
• Follow Pawkit's grooming SOPs, including hygiene, equipment care, and customer service expectations.
• Report any health or behavioral concerns observed during grooming.
• Maintain punctuality and reliability for housecall appointments.

• Proven grooming skills with at least one species (cats, dogs, rabbits, or guinea pigs).
• Strong animal handling skills and ability to adapt to different temperaments.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Independent, responsible, and professional in client homes.
• Must be comfortable with housecall/mobile work (travelling between appointments).
• Commitment to Pawkit's grooming standards and continuous learning.
• Formal grooming certification(s).

Bonus:

• Experience with multiple species.
• Owns a vehicle (petrol reimbursement provided).

• Salary range: $2,500 – $4,500/month (inclusive of CPF, incentives, and reimbursements; depending on experience and skillset).

Manage the day-to-day business operations of grooming center

Ensure all grooming appointments properly scheduled

Ensure pet grooming equipment are well maintained

Perform pet grooming based on the best practices and customers' needs

Ensure safety of pets throughout the grooming process

Ensure that all pets are well taken care of and in compliance with AVA guidelines

Highlight abnormalities of pets to the customers to avoid unnecessary conflicts or misunderstanding

Adhere to all the retail SOP, company's policies, processes, and procedures.

Requirements

At least 2 years of pet grooming experience

Possess Pet Grooming Certificate or related experience

As a key member of our pet grooming team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our furry clients. Your primary responsibilities will include performing full grooming services, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our premises.

Full-Time Pet Grooming Assistant

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist with basic grooming care for pets, including:
  • Bathing, shampooing, conditioning
  • Drying / blow-drying fur
  • Brushing and combing
  • Nail clipping, ear cleaning, basic hygienic trims
• Workplace safety, hygiene, and cleanliness of the salon
• Ensure pet safety throughout the grooming process
• Shop maintenance / cleaning: kennels/pens, grooming tools, workstations, floors, etc.
• Operational support: maintain grooming equipment, stock inventory, handle laundry, etc.
