Purpose and Scope
Provide performance expertise and operational excellence in Energy & Utilities assets (Power and Utilities plant) operation to ensure good plant availability, reliability and optimization.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
- Carry out plant performance monitoring, troubleshooting and optimization for Energy & Utilities assets (Power and Utilities plant) to ensure plant availability, reliability, efficiency and environmental compliance.
- Quarterly performance test for power plant, including data analysis and assessment of the plant efficiency, deep dive to identify the performance gap and root causes analysis, recommendation of the actions to rectify the identified issues, and post review.
- Monitor the plant water chemistry, identify the gaps and recommend the actions for process adjustment
- Perform mass balance analysis of all the processes to identify/rectify issues and minimize uncounted losses.
- Maintain and progressive improvement of the mass balance monitoring system.
- Track GHG emission and drive toward emission reduction.
- Initiate and drive the optimization initiatives of the operating assets to achieve reliability improvement, cost optimization and GHG emission reduction.
- Develop, implement and progressive improvement of the performance monitoring tools to enhance the work efficiency through automation and digitalization.
- Develop, update and implement plant performance related SOPs and workflows.
- Provide technical support related to plant performance to Power and utilities projects under development.
- Keep track on the development and implementation of new technologies in power and utilities industries and explore the feasibility of implementing such in the Company's assets and new projects to improve reliability, efficiency, and sustainability, such as hydrogen blending, ammonia, battery storage, and carbon capture etc.
- Support Performance Manager for any other assigned works
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering. Post-graduate qualifications will be an advantage.
- 1 - 5 years of relevant experience in water / wastewater treatment, process optimization, and plant troubleshooting.

Purpose & Scope
As a Performance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable operation of water and wastewater treatment plants. You'll lead treatability analyses for new customer enquiries, support process stability through troubleshooting and optimization, and contribute to innovative optimization and improvement initiatives.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and execute laboratory and pilot-scale studies to support troubleshooting, optimization, and new/complex wastewater projects.
- Conduct treatability analyses, propose treatment schemes, and evaluate treatment costs for customer solutions.
- Manage R&D lab operations, including equipment, supplies, housekeeping, and budget planning.
- Maintain detailed experimental records and prepare technical reports.
- Support the Commercial team with technical clarifications and practical wastewater solutions.
- Support process optimization projects, track performance improvements, and identify cost savings.

- Provide process support during customer shutdowns and coordinate with O&M teams to prevent plant upsets.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering. Post-graduate qualifications will be an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in water / wastewater treatment, process optimization, and plant troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience in laboratory and pilot-scale testing.
- Proficient in technical report writing and data analysis using MS Excel.
- Strong communication skills to engage with Operations, Commercial teams, and Customers.
- Knowledge of biological, physical, and chemical wastewater treatment processes.
- Familiarity with wastewater modeling software (e.g., BioWin, GPS-X, SUMO) is a plus.

Develop, deploy and manage tools to systematically run chaos experiments and measure impact
Enjoy working on, and gaining a deep understanding of, large scale distributed systems
Study the problems in the software resilience, operational, and delivery spaces
Extend our entire backend to enable Chaos Engineering techniques in the system
Observe running systems, and determine/prioritize innovative ways to disrupt them
About you:
You have 6+ years of relevant software development industry experience building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems.
Software development experience in Go, C/C++, Java, or similar.
Experience with concurrency, multithreading, and the deployment of distributed system architectures
Experience developing cloud infrastructure services, preferably with Kubernetes.
Experience leading and shipping large scope technical projects in collaboration with multiple experienced engineers.
Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their infrastructure as a service offering (e.g. EC2).
You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team and across engineering teams.
You are a strong problem solver and have solid production debugging skills.
You are passionate about efficiency, availability, scalability and data governance.
