What the role is
You will join AGD’s Salaries and Pensions Team and support the team in service delivery to pensioners.
What you will be working on
You will be responsible for the following:
Managing Pension hotline and helpdesk queries.
Working with partner agencies and shared service providers to ensure accurate update of pensioners’ records and timely payments to pensioners.
Follow up with pensioners or their next-of-kin on payment of undrawn amounts or recoveries due to/from pensioners.
Perform regular reconciliation of pension accounts.
Perform checks on pensioners’ claims including using analytical tools.
Working with Health Service Providers to ensure accurate billing of medical bills to Government.
Participating in projects and new initiatives to improve service delivery to pensioners.
Working with vendor to resolve system issues and enhancements related to the payroll/pensions module.
What we are looking for
Functional/Technical Competencies
Diploma in Accounting, Business, IT, Finance or related disciplines.
Experienced in managing payroll systems and/or external stakeholders (e.g. customers) would be an advantage.
Knowledge of data analytics would be an advantage.
Generic Competencies
Pleasant, patient and able to attend to queries from customers (e.g. pensioners).
Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder and team setting.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and good communication and interpersonal skills.
Meticulous and resourceful.
Proactive team player with ability to manage relationships and work well within AGD team and with key stakeholders from different public agencies.
