What We’re Looking For

• Qualifications & Experience: AHPC-registered Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of experience working with children and adolescents. Passionate fresh graduates with relevant pediatric placements are also encouraged to apply; we provide mentorship and supervision.

The SKILT Centre – the SpecialKids Intervention, Learning and Therapy Centre established in collaboration with SpecialKids Child Health & Development Clinic, provides a holistic series of programmes that target individuals aged 2 and upwards, through teenage years.

Role & Responsibilities

• Assess and identify occupational performance needs of children with special needs.
• Develop and implement appropriate therapy programs for children with special needs.
• Deliver therapy services through direct therapy, consultation with teachers and parents, collaboration, and progress monitoring.
• Work closely with the intervention team in assessment, goal development, intervention strategies, and progress monitoring in a trans-disciplinary setting.
• Maintain documentation on clients’ progress.

Requirements
