Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping children with developmental challenges to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing and providing individualised occupational therapy intervention for paediatric clients with a wide range of developmental challenges
- Conducting individual and/or group occupational therapy sessions
- Working closely with the early intervention team to develop and support them in providing appropriate intervention programs for clients
- Providing consultation and communication to support stakeholders (e.g., family and staff) in managing clients' occupational therapy issues
- Maintaining up-to-date records of assessment/intervention with clients, and consultation with families/staff/other stakeholders
- Maintaining timely and appropriate feedback and necessary communication with clients and stakeholders
- Participating in staff meetings, internal professional development, events organised by our organisation, networking meetings, and any other meetings as and when necessary
- Maintaining queue list in clinic system and good communication with clinic manager in terms of caseload
- Staying proactive in keeping abreast of developments in the field of Pediatric Occupational Therapy
Required Skills and Qualifications:
We are looking for individuals who possess excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy or a related field and be registered with the relevant occupational therapy registration board. A postgraduate qualification in paediatric occupational therapy would be an advantage.
