Job Description
Reporting to Assistant Manager Payroll, the Payroll Supervisor will be responsible to ensure timeliness, accurate and completeness of payroll processing and in driving improvement initiatives. He/she will support Assistant Manager Payroll to improve efficiency in transactional operations and enhance role of Finance as strategic Business Partners providing actionable business insights & performance measurement.
Responsibilities- Supervise a small team and co-ordinate the day-to-day payroll processing operations
- Perform payroll runs (regular/off-cycle runs) and ensure timeliness, accurate and completeness for all payroll processing, CPF submissions, tax withholding and company deductions
- Provide team members with guidance and support to resolve errors and respond to inquiries
- Prepare/review month end payroll journals
- Review transactions performed by team for increment, upgrading, promotion and contract renewal
- Review and manage outstanding receivables from ex-staff with HR Division
- Support Assistant Manager Payroll in annual IR8E Exercise, annual LCP upgrade and annual DR testing
- Undertake any other ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned by management
- Diploma in Accountancy, Finance or Business
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in payroll teams in large SMEs or MNCs
- Experience using SAP Payroll or SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll a must
- Good team player and have good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced and high transactional volume environment or ambiguous situations
