Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP Payroll Analyst to join our SAP HCM team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of SAP Payroll processes, schemas, and integration with other SAP HCM modules such as Time Management and Personnel Administration. This role will involve end-to-end implementation, configuration, testing, and support of SAP Payroll in alignment with business requirements and legal compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the implementation, upgrade, and support of SAP Payroll (country-specific versions, e.g., SAP Payroll Singapore, US, UK, etc.).
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP payroll solutions.
- Configure payroll schemas, rules, wage types, and PCRs (Personnel Calculation Rules).
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax structures, and wage reporting.
- Work on integration with Time Management, Personnel Administration (PA), and Finance (FI) modules.
- Conduct payroll parallel runs, testing cycles (Unit, Integration, UAT), and post-go-live support.
- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments or enhancements.
- Provide user training and support for HR/payroll teams.
- Troubleshoot payroll issues and provide timely resolution.
- Liaise with business stakeholders, third-party vendors, and SAP support as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Payroll configuration and support.
- Proven expertise in payroll schemas, rules, wage types, and legal compliance.
- Strong understanding of Time Evaluation, PA, and integration with Finance.
- Experience in at least one full-cycle SAP Payroll implementation.
- Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (EC Payroll) is a plus.
- Experience with payroll in (specific country, e.g., Singapore, US, Germany) preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps related to payroll.
- Experience with SuccessFactors integration.
- Understanding of GDPR / PDPA / local payroll data compliance regulations.
- Basic ABAP debugging knowledge.

- Ensure regular updates and revision of the SOP documentation.
- Provide input for the development of MyHR articles, communication materials related to programs, plans, policies, processes.

Job Requirements: Min Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Business/Human Resource or similar & min 5 yrs of relevant experience in Vendor Mgmt, preferably in pharmaceutical/medical device industry. Experience in using Workday & Prosoft system

We are seeking an Accounting & Payroll Analyst on a part-time basis to join a growing Partner Practice within St. James’s Place Singapore. The role is a key appointment to support the business in achieving its immediate and long-term business plan objectives. The Accounting & Payroll Analyst has overall responsibility for accounting & financial operations within the business, including aspects of the payroll function for Advisers. The role primarily involves task management, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll & HR Administration
- Implement aspects of payroll function for the Practice, including monthly commission payments to Financial Advisers.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare consolidated accounts and monthly financial reports for the Practice, and SJP senior management as needed.
- Maintain financial models to support budgeting, revenue forecasting and expense tracking across Practice operations.
- Ensure financial control is maintained and efficiencies are achieved with existing financial processes and procedures.
Other Responsibilities:
- Take on ad hoc dutiesand other projects that may be assigned.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Good interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and process-driven with strong attention to detail.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis, preferably within financial services, wealth management, or a professional services firm.
- Comfortable using CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Salesforce experience would be a significant advantage.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
