Responsibilities- Business Partnering & Operational Support: Collaborate closely with Finance BP teams to manage and mitigate bad debt risk, including reviewing customer credit terms. Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts (e.g., supplier agreements, customer T&Cs, logistics contracts, NDAs). Develop, maintain, and optimize legal templates and playbooks to improve operational efficiency. Manage the company's contract lifecycle and corporate seal. Draft and oversee the issuance of legal demand letters for debt recovery, ensuring clear and factual communication. Provide timely, practical, and solution-oriented legal advice on day-to-day operational matters.
- Compliance & Governance: Design, implement, and manage a scalable compliance framework tailored to our business growth. Establish and enforce corporate policies, with an initial focus on the contract review, execution, and archiving process. Develop and deliver regular compliance training programs for commercial (procurement & sales) and other teams. Assist the HR department in ensuring all aspects of local employment practices are fully compliant with Singapore law (MOM regulations).
- Dispute Resolution & External Counsel Management: Manage and represent the company in pre-litigation disputes and legal proceedings. Build, manage, and maintain a panel of cost-effective external law firms for specialized matters (e.g., complex litigation, major transactions). Efficiently manage legal budgets and outside counsel relationships.
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a recognized university.
- Admitted to practice law in Singapore.
- Approximately 3-5 years of relevant PQE, preferably gained from a mix of private practice and in-house roles (experience in supply chain, FMCG, or startups is a strong plus).
- Strong knowledge of Singapore contract law, corporate law, and compliance regulations.

What you’ll do:
