Job Opportunity: Bus Driver cum Maintenance Executive (Only Singaporean and Permanent Residents)

Location: Island-wide (Remote driving across Singapore)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport passengers to and from assigned locations across the island.
• Adhere to designated schedules and routes.
• Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy at all times.
• Provide professional and courteous service to all passengers.
• In charge of fleet maintenance schedule.
• Send vehicle to Vicom/STA for periodic inspection.

Requirements:

• Possess a valid Class 4 Driving Licence.
• Hold a Bus Driver Vocational Licence (BDVL).
• Good driving record with strong safety awareness.
• Familiarity with Singapore roads and traffic regulations.
• Experience in basic repairs and maintenance of buses.

The role of a Bus-Tram Captain involves providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe operation of buses and trams.

• Operate vehicles safely, following traffic laws and company procedures.
• Adhere to scheduled service times and routes, adjusting only when required due to road or safety conditions.
• Liaise with the Service Controller for instructions in case of delays, route disruptions, or emergencies.
• Ensure vehicle signage is correctly displayed before and during service.

A Bus-Tram Captain must possess excellent communication skills, as well as confidence in using onboard announcement systems.

In addition to these responsibilities, a Bus-Tram Captain must adhere to all policies and procedures, prioritize safety, and report any injuries or concerns regarding health and safety issues.

• Valid Certificate 4 driving license
• Valid Bus Driver's Vocational License (company sponsor available for suitable candidate without BDVL)
• Secondary education/WPL Level 3, or an equivalent
• Strong awareness of road safety and vehicle operation
• Excellent communication skills
• Confidence in using onboard announcement systems

Prior experience in public transport or tourism service environments is a plus.
