We are looking for a dedicated project supervisor that possess the ability to work with multiple projects, have a strong knowledge of each task and demonstrate excellent project management and supervision skills.

Job Responsibilities:

· Working at shipyard.

· Good time management and work independently

· Supervise and lead a team of workers to perform site work

· Resolve site problems encountered during work

· Prepare daily progress reports and work schedule

· Handling and monitoring the progress and quality of work being performed by workers

· Ensure all the works completed as per schedule and on budget

· Manpower planning

· Able to understand structural drawing, specifications, and requirements

· Responsible for the co-ordination of all project site activities and workers safety all the time

· Supervise and ensure the overall safety measures and standards at the work site.

· Arrange and ensure the team representative attend daily safety meeting

· Ensure all safety matters brought up in the daily meeting and are well briefed to workers and supervisor

Job Requirements:

· Minimum 5 years' experience in Marine industry

· Relevant certificates such as Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.1) / WSQ Workplace Safety Health course level 2 / Shipyard Safety Supervisor Course (SSSC)

· Relevant working experience, have knowledge of Shipyards operations and experience in project handling are an advantage

· Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to visualize issues and communicate them to others.

· Ability to work in a team

· Able to work long hours during weekdays and on weekends and public holidays when required.

· Must be able to adapt to changes (work procedures) at short notice.

· Positive attitude with sense of commitment and responsibility

· Monitoring construction processes, and providing training.

· Ensuring workers adhere health and safety regulations.

· Working closely and scheduling regular meetings with Project Managers, Safety Personnels and co-workers.

· Processing paperwork and traveling to multiple sites as required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the execution of the project assigned to him by Project Engineer
• Assist in the requisition of resources for the project such as labour, materials, equipment and others
• Assist in handling and storing of materials and equipment
• Reduce and minimise wastage of materials and equipment
• Supervise the sub-contractors' work
• Liaise with affiliated parties for the material delivery
• Ensure proper handover of the project to the customer upon project completion
• Ensure safety practices are followed
• Assist engineer in carrying out inspections of incoming materials and equipment for the projects at the work site
• Conduct quality checks of sub contractor or vendor works daily
• Handle site inspections, to arrange and attend to site inspections with RTO
• Arrange site inspections with client or main contractor's representative and update site installation progress
• Update the drafter on site changes regularly
• Arrange and obtain permit to work before execution of site activities
• Raise non-conformance product reports for nonconforming products
• Carried out assignment as detailed by the Senior Manager / Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Project Manager for the responsibilities as listed below :- Responsible in leading and managing the entire project crew and projects on site Monitors timelines of assigned projects

Coordinate and schedule tasks for workers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion of projects

Responsible and able to troubleshoot technical issues on site and pre-site installation Responsible for the safe operation of a variety of materials and equipments and monitor safety of team

Track & report weekly on the projects progress & budget

Requirements:

Possess knowledge of interior fit-out and project management

Minimum 1 years experience

Able to read blueprints, interior fit-out drawings and floor plans

Staying up-to-date with safety codes and advancements in construction.
Assisting with the recruitment and training of new staff.
Processing paperwork and traveling to multiple sites as required.
Construction Supervisor Requirements:
High school diploma or similar.
Bachelor's degree in construction, business, management, or engineering preferable.
Experience in the construction industry required.
Experience in a leadership role recommended.
Valid driver's license would be a merit point.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to focus and keep calm under pressure.
Ability to keep track of multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor work progress, manpower, and material delivery during night hours.
Enforce compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
Prepare and submit daily site reports, incident logs, and handover notes for day shift team.
Communicate effectively with regional teams and vendors, especially those based in Asia and China.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors familiar with Chinese construction standards, materials, and documentation (if applicable).
Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Project Supervisor in the construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction practices and safety requirements.
Able to work permanent night shifts and handle OT when necessary.
Proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin (to liaise with China-based vendors or subcontractors).
Familiar with Asia/China construction market practices, materials, or subcontractor management.
Possession of valid certifications such as BCSS or SSSC preferred.
