Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated project supervisor that possess the ability to work with multiple projects, have a strong knowledge of each task and demonstrate excellent project management and supervision skills.
Job Responsibilities:
· Working at shipyard.
· Good time management and work independently
· Supervise and lead a team of workers to perform site work
· Resolve site problems encountered during work
· Prepare daily progress reports and work schedule
· Handling and monitoring the progress and quality of work being performed by workers
· Ensure all the works completed as per schedule and on budget
· Manpower planning
· Able to understand structural drawing, specifications, and requirements
· Responsible for the co-ordination of all project site activities and workers safety all the time
· Supervise and ensure the overall safety measures and standards at the work site.
· Arrange and ensure the team representative attend daily safety meeting
· Ensure all safety matters brought up in the daily meeting and are well briefed to workers and supervisor
Job Requirements:
· Minimum 5 years' experience in Marine industry
· Relevant certificates such as Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.1) / WSQ Workplace Safety Health course level 2 / Shipyard Safety Supervisor Course (SSSC)
· Relevant working experience, have knowledge of Shipyards operations and experience in project handling are an advantage
· Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to visualize issues and communicate them to others.
· Ability to work in a team
· Able to work long hours during weekdays and on weekends and public holidays when required.
· Must be able to adapt to changes (work procedures) at short notice.
· Positive attitude with sense of commitment and responsibility

- Assist in the execution of the project assigned to him by Project Engineer
- Assist in the requisition of resources for the project such as labour, materials, equipment and others
- Assist in handling and storing of materials and equipment
- Reduce and minimise wastage of materials and equipment
- Supervise the sub-contractors' work
- Liaise with affiliated parties for the material delivery

Coordinate with site workers, subcontractors, and logistics team for smooth night operations.
Monitor work progress, manpower, and material delivery during night hours.
Enforce compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
Prepare and submit daily site reports, incident logs, and handover notes for day shift team.
Communicate effectively with regional teams and vendors, especially those based in Asia and China.
