About the Role:The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting dentists during dental procedures, handing instruments, mixing materials, and managing the clinical environment. They will also be responsible for sterilizing and maintaining dental equipment, instruments, and supplies.
- Dental Procedure Assistance: Assist dentists during dental procedures by handing instruments, mixing materials, and managing the clinical environment
- Sterilization and Maintenance: Sterilize and maintain dental equipment, instruments, and supplies
- Patient Interaction: Greet patients, manage appointment scheduling, and handle patient inquiries and administrative tasks
- Patient Records: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of patient information
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:
- Previous Experience: Previous experience as a Dental Surgery Assistant or in a similar healthcare support role
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and the dental team
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities effectively
- Linguistic Skills: Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of sterilization and infection control
