Key Responsibilities Risk Identification, Assessment and Management - Support the Deputy Vice President, Finance & Governance to continuously develop, improve and maintain a robust risk management framework and establish a controlled environment to reduce risk. His/ her key focus will be on Enterprise Risk Management, Grant Risk Management, Donor Risk Management and Health and Safety risk management for programme teams. - Be familiar with key business processes and track identified risks and issues related to these processes. - Work closely with other team members to devise risk mitigation measures for identified risks. - Ensure accurate monitoring and reporting of identified risks and relevant mitigation measures. - Perform grant and donor due diligence assessments and assist in second line control activities such as performing risk reviews on assessments performed by other team members. - Provide input and guidance to internal stakeholders with the aim of managing the organisation’s risk exposure in its day-to-day operations - Document key risk policies and processes - Spport the planning and execution of risk management training and workshops - Liaise with internal auditors Compliance and Governance - Support Deputy Vice President, Finance & Governance to ensure the organisation has robust policies and processes in place to fulfil and meet its compliance requirements. - Perform compliance obligations mapping to ensure Mandai Nature meets its compliance requirements. Such obligations include legal regulations, charity regulations, Anti Money Laundering & Terrorist Financing regulations and contractual obligations. - Highlight deficiencies in compliance processes and provide recommendations to manage and close these gaps. - Document key compliance policies and processes - Maintain the master contract list for the organisation and develop and maintain an efficient and effective process to ensure all legal contracts are organised centrally, with key contractual obligations identified and tracked. Other ad hoc task - Lead or support business process and system improvements from time to time. - Other special projects or ad hoc tasks that may arise Education Qualifications and Experience - Degree in Business, Finance, Law, Risk Management, or a related field in a recognised university or other relevant discipline. Job Description
Directly reporting to the Head of Operational & Fraud Risk, this is a 2nd line of defence role and is part of the CRO (Chief Risk Officer) organisation. As per the Operational Risk Type Framework of Trust Bank, there are 14 different sub-risk types within OR and the Head of Operational Risk has direct Subject Matter Expertise and oversight responsibility for 4 risk sub-types including Fraud. This specialist role will support the management and oversight of all risks within OR.
The job has accountability for ensuring and strengthening not only the Bank’s overall Operational Risk Management Framework, and ensuring operational risks are managed within appetite. Keeping abreast of market trends and regulatory requirements, the successful candidate will set the direction and execute the Operational Risk strategy while aligning them to the Bank’s overall strategy.
The Role Responsibility:
- Design and oversee the implementation an Operational Risk Framework and tailored to a Digital Bank
Lead the design of the Bank’s second line of defence in managing Operational Risk, encompassing strategy, governance, business engagement, policy, and awareness.
• Lead the design of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment Process tailored to a Digital Bank
• Collaborate extensively with the Technology, Product, Compliance and Operations team during the “build” phase to ensure systems/processes are built in a resilient and compliant manner.
• Provide guidance to the first line to identify and manage Operational Risks on an ongoing basis
• Keep abreast of the regulatory landscape in Singapore related to Operational risk and ensure regulatory requirements are embedded in the relevant processes
• Be directly responsible for the different regulatory reporting requirements to our regulators.
• Facilitate and promote the understanding of Operational risk requirements in the Bankand help the OR team deliver great quality audit outcomes.

Green Link Digital Bank is Singapore's inaugural wholesale digital bank focusing on supply chain finance, mainly serving MSMEs and aiming to help MSMEs grow and improve digitization.
Responsibilities
To support the implementation and enhancement of the Bank’s Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF) as part of the Line 2 risk function. The role focuses on operational risk reporting, facilitation of Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), oversight of the New Product Approval Policy, and secretariat duties for the Bank’s Operational Risk Committee.
Operational Risk Reporting
- Develop and maintain timely and accurate operational risk reports to senior management, committees, and regulators.
- Identify and highlight key operational risk themes, emerging risks, and significant incidents.
- Track and report operational risk metrics, such as KRIs and loss data, and support scenario analysis exercises.
Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)
- Guide business units in planning and executing RCSA exercises in accordance with Bank standards.
- Review and challenge RCSA outputs to ensure risks and controls are properly assessed and documented.
- Monitor the implementation of action plans arising from identified risk/control gaps.
- Conduct thematic risk reviews and support targeted risk workshops.
New Product Approval Governance
- Support the enhancement of the New Product Approval Policy and governance processes.
- Review new product and service proposals from a Line 2 operational risk perspective.
- Ensure proposed products are aligned with risk appetite, and operational risks are identified and mitigated.
- Work with stakeholders (Product, Compliance, Legal, Technology, Operations) in reviewing proposals.
Secretariat Role – Operational Risk Committee
- Act as Secretary for the Bank’s Operational Risk Committee.
- Prepare and circulate meeting agendas, materials, and minutes.
- Track and follow up on matters arising and action items from committee meetings.
- Ensure governance standards and documentation requirements are met for committee operations.
Other Responsibilities
- Support internal and external audits, and regulatory reviews related to operational risk.
- Promote operational risk awareness and training across the organisation.
- Contribute to the enhancement of operational risk tools, systems, policies, and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in operational risk, internal audit, or compliance within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong exposure to RCSA, operational risk reporting, and product governance processes.
- Prior experience supporting committee secretariat functions is a plus.
- Excellent communications skills with the ability to operate independently.
- Experience and comfortable in establishing relationships with different departments.
- Self-motivated and a good team player.
