Job Purpose


To support GM CHSEQ for management of HSEQ related projects for ship management strategy division energy.


Duties and Responsibilities



  • Safety Management System Implementation: Support in the implementation of the Company's Safety Management System, which may include tasks related to manuals and fleet notices. Investigation of accidents & incidents and advise Managers of Liquefied Gas Carriers on the measures to prevent recurrence. Develop and enhance Cyber Security of Vessel ICT systems.

  • smartPAL HSEQ: Support GM for collaboration with stakeholders to follow up on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) issues. Support Construction and maintenance of companies’ HSEQ module in PAL. Identify PAL users’ requirements and propose the best solution with feasibility, timeliness, and cost effectiveness in mind, discuss and confirm the solutions together with PAL users and system vendors.

  • Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor and analyze Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the fleet. Review and analysis of HSEQ scores, fleet audit and inspection outcomes through PAL, and advise Managers of Energy on the measures to improve fleet performance.

  • Assist with HSEQ and Certification: smartPAL HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, Quality), Quality Document Management System (QDMS), certification processes, and day-to-day crewing issues.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Support GM for collaboration with various stakeholders to plan for future deployments and unification efforts. Support PMS/DD/Purchase PICs in ICT Strategies Team.

  • Mobile App Project Support: Assist in implementing a Mobile App project for LG (Liquefied Gas) and Tanker operations.


Job Requirement



  • Education: Deck Class 1 Certificate of Competency.

  • Experience: Sailed as Master on Merchant LNG or LPG (Ammonia) vessel and years’ shore experience in Major ship management company or Oil Major.

  • Knowledge: Good knowledge of ISM (International Safety Management Code), ISPS (International Ship and Port Facility Security Code), MLC (Maritime Labor Convention), TMSA (Tanker Management and Self-Assessment), SIRE (Ship Inspection Report Program), and ISO standards. Monitoring & sharing international rules, regulations, and shipping industries’ standard, including interfacing with regulatory agencies.

  • IT Skills: Proficiency in IT tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.

  • Soft Skills: Good organizational and communication skills, a positive attitude, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player.

  • Documentation Skill: Excellent and speedy documentation skills.

  • Negotiation Skill: Strong negotiation skills, ability to build consensus.

Responsibilities
  1. Implement the Customer Support Policy for the OEM End User. Supervise, maintain and support company systems in the field.
  2. Support OEM partners and End Users under warranty and service support agreements as defined.
  3. Maintain, support, and guide proper training to all users, including OEM and End User personnel. Training will be provided, in most cases, by an engineer dedicated to training.
  4. Maintain proper reporting methods for all activities of customer support as defined by the Territory Service Manager/Customer Support Manager.
  5. Maintain the company’s parts inventory under the position’s control. Maintain proper stock levels in accordance with the spare parts stock policy, as set from time to time.
  6. Assist in new equipment integration, add-ons, and upgrades.
  7. Provide feedback to the headquarters based on experience gained with customers.
  8. Support the customer beyond the defined working schedule as required.
  9. Other tasks deemed necessary by the Management.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree related to Semiconductor / Engineering industry.
  2. Prior experience in the semiconductor industry would be an advantage.

  • Collaborate with OEMs and client engineering teams to meet technical and safety standards.
  • Document service activities and mentor junior engineers on-site.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with LM2500 and LM6000 turbines.
  • FPSO experience with mechanical integration and operational support.
