Overview
Join Ashtead Technology in Singapore as a Offshore/Onshore Mechanical Technician and play a vital part in the growth of our Mechanical Solutions service line. In this role, you’ll split your time between our onshore workshop and offshore assignments, where you’ll put your technical skills to work on ROV Tooling and subsea decommissioning equipment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Inspect, test, service and repair ROV Tooling and Mechanical Solutions equipment for hire
Offshore operation of equipment in line with project requirements
Ensure all equipment is correctly prepared, calibrated, labelled and packaged for delivery
Identify and report faults or damage on returned equipment and carry out repairs as required
Provide technical support to customers and interface with the client’s representative at the offshore site for planning, organising and executing the work
What Experience You’ll Bring
Hands on experience in a Technician role undertaking repair, maintenance and testing of ROV Tooling and Mechanical Solutions equipment, preferably in a subsea environment
An understanding of mechanics and hydraulics and ability to read schematics, including fault finding
Strong team working and problem solving capabilities
