• Must have completed a MOM-approved WSHC training course with competency certificates and be registered with MOM.
• Additional certifications such as Work-at-Height, Confined Space, or other relevant safety credentials will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of WSH regulations and industry best practices.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• A team player with a proactive and responsible attitude.
• Physically fit as the position requires the successful candidate to be on-site at times.

• Develop, implement, enforce and maintain safety policies, procedures and regulations to ensure site compliance with prevailing MOM safety acts and Regulations etc
• Enforce and ensure all sites are complied with Workplace, Safety & Health Acts
• Provides Safety Advice guidance, consultation, briefing, training and supports on all aspects to the operators, site staff and workers/subcontractors to ensure proper execution of assigned tasks

• Certificate of Registration by MOM
• Degree or Diploma in Safety
• Minimum 5 years of working experience as WSHO (MOM registered) in local construction industry especially in HDB BTO projects

• Responsible for port safety standards.
• Establish and manage WSH targets.
• Develop and execute programmes/projects to drive proactive safety culture.
• Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of programmes/projects.
• Upkeep WSH Management Systems to align with JP context and requirements.
• Track progress, provide timely updates of targets, programmes and projects.

• Hiring a Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) cum Environmental Control Officer (ECO)
• Must be registered with Ministry Of Manpower (MOM)
• Minimum of 3 years of post-registration experience in the construction industry, particularly in LTA and CAG projects
• Min qualification and field is WSHO certification
• Salary range is $4,500 to $5,500 depending on experience
• 5.5 work days

• Carry out duties as specified by WSH Act.
• Assist in the implementation of the EHS management system
• Ensure all site activities are carried out in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
• Carry out daily WSH inspections including machinery, equipment, plant, installation.
• Functions as the Site EHS Assessor in the verification of the hazardous works.
• Conduct EHS induction course for new employees and contractors.
• Ensure that Risk Assessment and Safe Work Procedure are brief to workers and sub-contractor.
• Identify WSH hazards and implement control measures.

• Conduct site safety audit inspections, monitor and drive contractors' close out of safety violations.
• Identify foreseeable risks and hazards in the worksite and in relation to the work activities and work sequence and assess suitability of contractors' risk control measures.
• Review contractors' method statement, risk assessment and safe work procedure and recommend and implement practicable measures and safe work procedures.
• Facilitate Investigation processes and report to WSH Manager on all incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Liaise with main contractor representatives, subcontractor and relevant Authorities pertaining to safety matters.
• Monitor follow-up actions to ensure safety compliance and close out inspection findings and observations.
• Inculcate a safe working environment and promote positive safety culture and training.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering or Workplace Safety & Health disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of experience as WSHO

• Able to manage contractors and consultants.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Able to work independently with minimum guidance and meeting tight deadlines and report effectively to the WSH Manager
• Comfortable to work in construction site in the western side of Singapore.
