Sonographer is responsible for the providing prompt diagnostic imaging services to the patient, ensuring patient safety and proper care of equipment. Assist Centre In-charge/ Senior or Principal Sonographer/Radiographer to guide and supervise junior sonographer and student radiographers when required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform general ultrasound examinations to patients as requested by referring physicians
- Responsible for the safety and welfare of the patient
- Maintain a clean and safe environment; adhere to safe work practices especially in patient care, modesty, safety and infection control
- Ensure proper usage and care for ultrasound equipment at the specific diagnostic centre
- Perform other administrative duties or ad-hoc quality departmental projects/activities as assigned by the reporting officer/ Lead Radiographer
- Responsible for general housekeeping of the allocated diagnostic centre.
- Render prompt and courteous service delivery to external and internal customers.
- Ensure efficient running and operations of their area of responsibility.

- PreferrablyAHPC certification will beachieved after one / two years depending on qualification(s).
- Willing to be rotated todifferent diagnostic centre / hospital when necessary.

- Recognized and relevant Degree/Postgraduate qualification in Sonography or Radiography.
- Registration with Allied Health Professions Council is an added advantage
