Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
The Product Support organization's group develops, designs, and implements a comprehensive product serviceability strategy. Functions as the central service resource with design, installation, service documentation, product training, and continuous improvement for the product lifetime.
- Responsible for NPI, Sustaining, Cost of Service, and Continuous Improvement Project, KLA services products in support of KLA inspection systems.
- Develop proactive strategies to support product ramp plans for new sites.
- Ensure the product meets entitled performance specs in the following areas: MTBI / MTBA, MTBF, COS, Availability, measurement issues (precision, stability, matching), field readiness (CSE skill, parts stocking, tooling).
- Prepare and deliver Executive Product, KLA Product Support Operations, and Product Life Cycle reviews.
- Report on the progress of the new product introductions, CoS, field readiness, product performance, PLC activities, and customer operation meetings.
- Work with KLAS and Product marketing teams to define Service Offerings, including fore casting of Cost of Service and product differentiation.
- Manage the resource allocation and planning for NPI execution per the division product roadmap.
- Drive the execution of the KLAS NPI deliverables as well as drive NPI process CIP such as Phase 2 Service Requirement Management and SRR success criteria. Develop a product support team, perform talent reviews, assess team performance, and create plans to improve team talent.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering with 3-5 years' experience
- Education or experience with semiconductor capital equipment and integrated circuit manufacturing is helpful.

What you will do

Track hardware build versions and maintain full traceability throughout the product lifecycle.

Resolve production and potential ramp‐up issues quickly using structured problem‐solving and risk analysis methodologies such as: 8D, 5‐Why, Fishbone, PFMEA, DMAIC, and Fault Tree Analysis.
Orchestrate cross‐functional collaboration between design, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, quality, service, and logistics teams to proactively identify and resolve issues
Own and drive Engineering Change Management processes (ECO/ECN/ECR), ensuring timely alignment and coordination with all operational stakeholders.
Ensure timely updates of interrelated documentation - spare part manuals, service manuals, user manuals, wiring diagrams, production work instructions, hardware revision logs etc
