Responsible to perform Surveillance Inspection to ensure that the piping work is performed and duly meeting the project specific Quality Requirements.
Responsible for verification of in process inspection, final inspection and welding.
Arrange for proper NDT requirements as per specifications and to establish and maintain inspection and NDT progress status on weekly basis.
Well versed with all the techniques involving NDT methods UT, MT,PT,PMI & VI
Responsible to raise Non-conformance reports as seen during inspection and follow-up on status of rework and close-out.
Prepare and maintain Welding Audit Report during construction and to record result of inspections and maintain records of specific items as per contract/specifications

Who will you be working with? Reporting to the Senior Engineer, Technical Support you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and calibration of Evident Products. This role is to fulfil customer’s requirements and solve technical problems.
What will your typical day look like?
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and calibration for Evident products.
- Ensure all testing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated regularly.
- Collaborate closely with customers & our distributors to understand their specific requirements, address inquiries, and provide technical guidance.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare comprehensive and detailed service reports, evaluation reports, recommendations, and quotation for customer.
- Adhere to established quality control processes and procedures to maintain the highest level of accuracy and reliability after repair and calibration.
- Providing technical support to the Sales team for the potential sale of new instruments, including answering technical questions and occasionally running instrument demos.
- Always prioritize safety, following established safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Manage and organize assign projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with other teams.
- Seek opportunities for professional development and training.
- To support the technical training as the authorized trainer.
- To lead the NDT Service team to ensure timely turnaround time and customer satisfaction.
What do we want to know about you?
- Possesses Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience in scientific equipment repair, maintenance, and calibration.
- Knowledge of and ability to operate an oscilloscope, function generator, digital multimeter, frequency counter, and other related diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of Ultrasound, Phased-Array & Eddy Current technology is a plus.
- Highly organized with superior customer service skills.
- Excellent in MS Office knowledge and its applications.
- Excellent communications skills, highly self-motivated and able to work to
- meet agreed deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong
