About The Team

The E-commerce Global Supply Chain and Logistics team is dedicated to enhancing clients' shopping experience and reducing logistics operational cost in TikTok E-commerce. We are currently looking for talented software engineers that have a deep understanding of machine learning (ML), operations research (OR), data mining and statistical inference. This position can be fulfilled in our Singapore offices.

Responsibilities

  • Build deep learning and statistical models to provide end-to-end estimated time of arrival (ETA) prediction for the e-commerce logistics. Through fine adjustment of ETA expression to the consumers, improve the click-to-order rate while balancing the negative review indicators.
  • Use data mining tools to build logistics network knowledge graphs, based on which to construct a situational awareness & early warning system for logistics fulfillment, enabling operations to discover and deal with logistics network anomalies, and to improve the logistics fulfillment quality together with logistics service providers.
  • Analyze and predict the spatio-temporal trajectory sequence of express packages through deep learning, statistical inference and other algorithmic methods. This trajectory prediction can help to build a better understanding of logistics network dynamics, improve ETA prediction accuracy and provide important sample features for other prediction tasks.
  • Build a service network design (SND) model for the location selection of transshipment centers and last mile stations based on an expected increase in logistics order volume.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and iterate strategies and models for predicting logistics events at the order level, including false shipments, user complaints, failed deliveries, false dispatching, negative reviews, and more.
  • Drive the implementation of algorithmic models and ensure they generate tangible business value, such as logistics cost savings, GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) growth, and improved service levels.
  • Develop innovative and state-of-the-art e-commerce logistics models and algorithms
  • Support the production of scalable and optimised AI/machine learning (ML) models
  • Focus on building algorithms for the extraction, transformation and loading of large volumes of realtime, unstructured data to deploy AI/ML solutions from theoretical data science models
  • Run experiments to test the performance of deployed models, and identifies and resolves bugs that arise in the process
  • Work in a team setting and apply knowledge in statistics, scripting and programming languages required by the firm

Qualifications

This is an exciting opportunity for an AI Engineer to be at the forefront of AI innovation. You will design, build, and optimize real-time autonomous AI agents for immersive 3D game environments. This role involves a unique blend of cutting-edge research in computer vision, large language models (LLMs), and real-time action systems. This position is pivotal in bridging state-of-the-art research with practical deployment, directly supporting AISG's mission to advance applied AI through impactful research and scalable product development. You will contribute to strengthening collaborations between AISG's applied research teams and our industry partners. Duties and Responsibilities Architect, implement, and refine modular AI pipelines that support agent perception, planning, and action within real-time 3D environments. Develop and optimize real-time perception systems leveraging advanced computer vision models. Create and experiment with novel vision-language-action models for autonomous gameplay, drawing inspiration from robotics. Conduct research into multi-agent systems and cooperative/competitive behaviors within simulated environments. Integrate AI models into leading game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) for interactive training, evaluation, and deployment. Design innovative reward functions and robust evaluation metrics for reinforcement learning agents. Curate and maintain high-quality datasets for supervised and self-supervised learning paradigms. Build and scale cloud-ready inference pipelines utilizing containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and MLOps best practices. Perform rigorous latency optimization and benchmarking to ensure real-time system performance. Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative development environment through constructive code reviews. Communicate research findings and project progress effectively through demos, internal presentations, and contributions to external academic forums where appropriate. As a Senior Software Engineer in our AI Product Team, you will play a critical role in transforming how analysts process and analyse information. You will work at the forefront of applied AI, building intelligent systems that enhance sense-making, information discovery, and decision-support for national security.

In this role, you will design and develop AI-driven applications, such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems and intelligent automation workflows, as well as the supporting web systems and data processing pipelines that power these capabilities. You will contribute across the full technology stack, from backend services and data retrieval layers to frontend interfaces that bring AI functionalities to users. Our team focuses on applying and integrating AI technologies rather than model training or fine-tuning, emphasizing innovation, rapid experimentation, and real-world impact.


Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and deploy scalable AI-enabled digital products integrating retrieval, generation, and reasoning capabilities.
  • Scout, evaluate, and integrate emerging AI technologies to drive innovation.
  • Collaborate with analysts, AI engineers, data scientists, designers, and product managers to co-create solutions grounded in organisational needs.
  • Prototype rapidly and apply engineering best practices to experimental AI applications.

Requirements (Minimum Qualifications)
