Job Description
You will be part of the dynamic team responsible for building resilient network infrastructure using cutting-edge technologies such as cloud-based and software-defined networking e.g. SD-WAN, ACI and NSX. You must have a good understanding of IT infrastructure systems, and knowledge in the latest networking technologies and platforms. We need you to be a team player, keen to take on new challenges and keep abreast with rapidly evolving technology landscape.
Responsibilities- Implement, operate and optimise modernised and virtualised network infrastructure to ensure scalable, sustainable and secure operations
- Implement architectural standards, reference models and guidelines that enhance security, resiliency and scalability
- Evaluate and implement network technologies that meet users’ needs and aligned with the industry development
- Provide network consultation to project teams for system deployment, working with various stakeholders to resolve technical problems and optimise network performance
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
- 2-5 years of relevant working experience in network design, implementation and/or operations
- Manage and support network environment with strong network knowledge in TCP/IP, switching, routing, DHCP, DNS, virtual private networks (VPN)
- Implement and manage campus and data centre switches, routers, load balancers, firewalls and use of network management tools to monitor service metrics
- Knowledge in cloud platforms, automation at scale using scripting languages (e.g. Ansible, Python, PowerShell), storage networking and software defined networking will be an added advantage
- Good understanding of prevailing networking technologies and related technology markets
- Good communication skills, system thinking and systematic problem-solving skills
- Able to work with the team or independently with minimum supervision
- Self-motivated and eager to learn
- Fresh grad with good results will also be considered as training will be provided
- Certifications in networking domain such as CCNA/CCNP, VCP (Network Virtualisation)
- Experience in Git, Terraform, Kubernetes

Make an Impact by:- Supporting the IPTV team in the expansion of IPTV and OTT infrastructure to meet BAU growth.

- Lead and supervise a team to carry out patch loading, implementation of software and hardware upgrades on mobile Core and Radio Access Network (RAN) nodes (4G/5G).

- Create and maintain Standard Operating Plans (SOPs) to operate the network elements.
- Troubleshoot and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for system faults.Provide engineering support and expertise to Planning and Product Marketing in technical feasibility studies and trials of new products and services.
- As updates and upgrades may disrupt mobile services, the successful candidate occasionally needs to work outside r egular working hours to carry out such activities.
- T here may also be unplanned system faults and service degradat i on outside regular working hours, which the successful candidate may be contacted to support the restoration.
- Engineering degree preferably in the area of computer engineering/computer science/Communications.
- Possess good analytical and systematic troubleshooting skills in the area of technical fault isolation and rectification.

Make An Impact By- Leading procurement of iOSS, including tender specifications, evaluation, and managing end-to-end implementation.
- Coordinating with vendors for service testing, troubleshooting, network diagnostics, and documentation.
- Leading negotiations with vendors.
- Engaging with local and regional counterparts for cost efficiencies and operational synergies.
- Managing vendors throughout project phases.
- Collaborating to gather and analyze technical requirements, driving solution design, including cybersecurity.
- Evaluating automation, AIOps, and analytics to create an intelligent OSS ecosystem.
- Managing financial aspects of iOSS, including Capex and Opex.
- Overseeing daily operations post-deployment, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in telecommunications/IT, especially in system integration & operation.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience in vendor analysis, RFI, RFP, RFQ, and contract negotiations.
- Knowledge of all project lifecycle elements.
- Flexibility to work outside normal hours for upgrades and patches.
