Role Summary
The Engineer will implement, maintain, and support the organization's network and server infrastructure across the customer's corporate office and retail stores in Singapore. This includes LAN/WAN connectivity, cloud services, server management, and IT security. The role also involves working with the global IT team, Internal IT, managing vendors, and handling incidents, change requests, and service requests.
Key Responsibilities
· Configure and maintain network infrastructure for office and store locations (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN).
· Administer server infrastructure including AWS, DNS, Active Directory, DHCP, and domain controllers.
· Monitor network and system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime meets SLAs.
· Implement and maintain network and system security measures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure access policies.
· Manage vendor relationships and project execution
· Collaborate with the global IT team on infrastructure projects and initiatives.
· Handle incidents, change requests, and service requests in line with ITIL or company processes.
· Maintain accurate documentation and provide regular reports.
Note: Scope is not limited to the above and may evolve with business needs.
Requirements
· Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
· Experience with server administration (Windows Server, AD, AWS) and cloud networking (Amazon Web Services Cloud).
· Familiarity with firewall management (Fortinet, Cisco Meraki, Barracuda WSG)
· Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards.
